Հանրությունը Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցուց պահանջում է խստորեն պատասխանել Փաշինյանի գործողություններին, նաև համախմբել Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցին ընդդեմ գործող իշխանությունների ապազգային քաղաքականության։ Երեկ Սուրբ Սարգիս եկեղեցում տեղի ունեցած պատարագը հերթական անգամ ապացուցեց, որ Փաշինյանն իր թիմով ձախողվելու է եկեղեցու դեմ իր արշավում, բայց և համառորեն շարունակում է նույն գործողությունները, թեպետ նույնիսկ քպականների համար է հասկանալի, որ մեկ տասնյակի հասնող եպիսկոպոսներին, մի քանի քահանաների իր կողմը քաշելով՝ Փաշինյանին չի հաջողվելու սասանել Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսի դիրքերը։

Իսկ հենց բուն եկեղեցում տեղի ունեցած բողոքի գործողությունը, դրան իրավապահների արձագանքը, երբ 2 անձի հեռացրեցին Գարեգին Երկրորդի անունը տալու համար, վկայում է, որ առաջիկայում նման բողոքի ակցիաները ավելի ու ավելի շատ են լինելու, և քայլ առ քայլ մարդիկ սկսում են թոթափել անտարբերությունն ու վախը։ Առանցքայինը, ի դեպ, կալանավորված Միքայել և Բագրատ սրբազանների ուղերձն է մեկուսարանից, որտեղ նրանք իրենց «եղբայրներին» կոչ են անում վերադառնալ կանոնական դաշտ, նրանց «տիրադավ» անվանում և դատապարտում հերձված ստեղծելու այդ փորձը։

Չափազանց ուշագրավ ու կոշտ մի հայտարարություն էլ Մոսկվայի թեմից էր ստացվել։ Ողջ թեմը դատապարտել է Փաշինյանի գործողությունները՝ բացառությամբ մի քահանայի՝ տեր Հակոբ Սարոյանի, որի անունը հատուկ ընդգծված էր հայտարարության մեջ։ Պարզվում է, որ վերջինս Փաշինյանի հետ վերջերս մտերմացած Մասիացոտնի թեմի առաջնորդ Գևորգ եպիսկոպոս Սարոյանի եղբայրն է, որն էլ փորձում է հենց տեղում՝ Մոսկվայում խժդժություններ հարուցել կաթողիկոսի դեմ։ Առաջիկայում իշխանությունը շատ ավելի լայն արշավ է սկսելու Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու դեմ, և հավատացյալները պետք է պատրաստ լինեն նոր թափով պաշտպանելու հայոց եկեղեցին։
