Պակիստանը կիրակի մերժել է ՄԱԿ-ի Մարդու իրավունքների հանձնակատարի զգուշացումը ամենազոր բանակի ղեկավարին իրավական անձեռնմխելիություն տրամադրելու հետ կապված օրենքի գերակայության համար հնարավոր «հեռուն գնացող հետևանքների» մասին, հայտնում է AFP-ն։

Երկրի արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունը հայտարարել է, որ Պակիստանը «լիովին հավատարիմ է սահմանադրությամբ ամրագրված հիմնարար ազատությունների և օրենքի գերակայության պաշտպանությանը»՝ ի պատասխան ՄԱԿ-ի Մարդու իրավունքների գերագույն հանձնակատար Ֆոլկեր Թյուրքի քննադատությանը։

Այս ամիս ավելի վաղ խորհրդարանի հավանությանն արժանացած սահմանադրական փոփոխությունը, որը ֆելդմարշալ Ասիմ Մունիրին և այլ բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաների ցմահ պաշտպանում է հետապնդումից, տագնապ է առաջացրել իրավապաշտպան կազմակերպությունների շրջանում։ Այս փոփոխությունը հանգեցրել է նաև նոր Դաշնային սահմանադրական դատարանի ստեղծմանը՝ Գերագույն դատարանին զրկելով լիազորությունների մի մասից և խստացնելով դատավորների նկատմամբ վերահսկողությունը։

«Այս փոփոխությունները, միասին վերցրած, կարող են հանգեցնել դատական համակարգին քաղաքական միջամտության և գործադիր իշխանության կողմից վերահսկողության»,- ասվում է ուրբաթ հրապարակված Թյուրքի հայտարարության մեջ։

Նա զգուշացրել է «ժողովրդավարության և օրենքի գերակայության սկզբունքների համար հեռուն գնացող հետևանքների» ռիսկի մասին, սկզբունքներ, որոնք թանկ են պակիստանցի ժողովրդի համար։

Իսլամաբադում այդ հայտարարություններն անվանել են «անհիմն»՝ նշելով, որ «ափսոսանք է հարուցում այն փաստը, որ Պակիստանի տեսակետները և տեղում առկա իրողությունները չեն արտացոլվել»։

Հայտնի լինելով որպես Պակիստանի ամենահզոր ինստիտուտ՝ զինվորական իշխանությունը 1947 թվականին անկախության ձեռքբերումից ի վեր մի շարք պետական հեղաշրջումների միջոցով կառավարել է երկիրն իր գոյության գրեթե կեսի ընթացքում։
