Մարդկանց վախը 13 թվից կոչվում է թրիսքեյդեքաֆոբիա և փոխառնված է թրիսքեյդեքա բառից, որը «տասներեք» ու «ֆոբիա» բառերի հունարեն տարբերակն է:
Նախքան Քրիստոսի գերությունը վերջին ընթրիքին մասնակցել է 13 մարդ: Նրան դավաճանել է 13-րդ հյուրը: Հնարավոր է ՝ հենց այս տեղից էլ սկսվել է 13 թվի առեղծվածը:
Դեպի լուսին սահմանված թռիչքներից միայն «Ապոլոն-13»-ն է, որի ժամանակ լուրջ վթար է տեղի ունեցել:

Կան 12 աստվածներ, 12 առաքյալներ, 12 ամիսներ, 12 համաստեղություններ և այլն: Մարդկությունը վատը լավից տարբերելու կարիք է ունեցել և դա արել է թվերի միջոցով: Ամեն անգամ, երբ 13 թվի հետ կապված ինչ-որ լավ բան է կատարվում, նշեք ձեզ մոտ և կզարմանաք արդյունքներից: Հեթանոսները հավատում էին, որ 13-ը հաջողակ թիվ է, որովհետև տարին 13 լրիվ ամսից է բաղկացած:
