Թաիլանդում, Վիետնամում և Ինդոնեզիայում տեղատարափ անձրևների, ջրհեղեղների և սողանքների հետևանքով զոհերի ընդհանուր թիվը հասել է 141-ի, հաղորդում են ասիական լրատվամիջոցները։
Կենտրոնական Վիետնամում մեկ շաբաթից ավելի տևած ջրհեղեղների և սողանքների հետևանքով զոհվել է 98 մարդ։ Վնասվել կամ ավերվել է ավելի քան 1000 տուն, ոչնչացվել է ավելի քան 80 հազար հեկտար բրնձի դաշտեր և այլ գյուղատնտեսական մշակաբույսեր։
Ինդոնեզիայի Սումատրա կղզում զոհվել է առնվազն 10 մարդ, վեց մարդ էլ անհայտ կորած է համարվում։ Ջրհեղեղների հետևանքով ջրի տակ էանցել ավելի քան 2000 տուն։
Հորդառատ անձրևները հարվածել են նաև Մալայզիային, որտեղ տուժած տարածքներից ավելի քան 19 հազար մարդ է տարհանվել։
Թաիլանդում ջրհեղեղը խլել է ավելի քան 40 մարդու կյանք, գրում է Thai Enquirer-ը։ Սա վերջին 25 տարվա ամենաուժեղ ջրհեղեղն է։ Աղետից տուժել է ավելի քան 3,2 միլիոն մարդ և երկրի 20 նահանգներ։
Ամենածանր վնասը կրել է Հաթյայ քաղաքում, որտեղ իշխանությունները որոշել են տարհանել բոլոր 160 հազար բնակչի։ Ակնկալվում է, որ իրավիճակը կկայունանա մեկ շաբաթվա ընթացքում։
Ջրհեղեղի հետևանքով մահացել է քառասունվեց մարդ։ Տուժածները հիվանդանոցներ են տեղափոխվում ուղղաթիռներով, որոնք միաժամանակ խմելու ջուր, սնունդ և դեղորայք են մատակարարում։
