Էլեկտրիկ Երևանի օրերն էին: Մարդիկ դուրս էին եկել փողոց՝ ընդդեմ էլեկտրաէներգիայի թանկացման:
Ինչպես ամեն ամառ Սամվել Կարապետյանը Հայաստան էր ժամանել: Կարծես ավանդույթ էր դարձել և ամեն անգամ երկրի համար մի կարևոր հարց քննարկվում էր նրա հետ:
 
Օրինակ՝ մի տարի նա սուբսիդավորեց Հայաստանի բոլոր քաղաքացիների գազի վճարը ,որի մասին կպատմեմ հետագայում և որի մասին գրեթե ոչ ոք չգիտի:
 
Այդ տարի երկրի ղեկավարը մի խնդրանքով էր դիմել նրան ՝գնել Հայաստանի էլեկտրական ցանցերը ,որպեսզի այսպես կոչված blackout -ը կանխվի և համակարգը պարտքերի պատճառով չկանգնի:
 
Հիշում եմ մեր տանը հորս և հորեղբորս խոսակցությունը : Հայրս դեմ էր՝ բոլորիս առաջարկում էր չանել , քանի որ ժողովրդի համար այդպիսի նուրբ ոլորտ ,ինչպիսին լույսն է չի կարող խոցելի չլինել և մարդիկ դժգոհ լինելով այդ կառույցից , որը չէր կարող անթերի լինել ,իրենց դժգոհությունը կարող էին փոխանցել ընտանիքի անվանը, իսկ կործանվող ընկերությունը բեռ կլիներ մեզ համար:
 
Հիշում եմ հորեղբորս խոսքերը ՝եթե անգամ չստացվի ընկերության վիճակը լավացնել, տարին 15 մլն $ կհատկացնենք և կհամարենք դա բարեգործություն Հայաստանի համար:
 
Երկար բանավեճից հետո որոշվեց գնել : Տարիների աշխատանքի արդյունքում մի օր երբեմնի համարյա սնանկ ընկերությունը դասվեց Moody’s ի վարկանիշով Հայաստանի պետական վարկանիշից բարձր վարկանիշ ունեցող ընկերությունների շարքը: Իհարկե աշխատանքը անթերի չէր և չէր կարող լինել, դա կոմունալ ոլորտ է որը միշտ խոցելի կլինի: Բայց սնանկ ընկերությունից այսպիսի ցատկը մի անուն ունի՝ լավ տնտեսական կառավարում, հանգիստ ,անաղմուկ , անշոու:
 
Անցել է 10 տարի և հայրենի կառավարությունը «շնորհակալ» եղավ Սամվել Կարապետյանին:
Ընկերությունը զրկվեց լիցենզիայից, որպեսզի Քաջարանի Պղնձամոլիբդենայինի պես դառնա ՔՊ ֆինանսավորող ևս մի ընկերություն՝ ընտրությունների համար և իշխանությունը պահելու համար:
 
Եվ երբ ասում ենք Փաշինյանը մտածում է միայն իր իշխանության մասին , իսկ Սամվելը՝ նաև քո մասին, ճիշտ ենք ասում:
