Գիրացած հիվանդների արյան մեջ վիտամին D-ի մակարդակը միջինում 20-30%-ով ցածր է նորմալ քաշ ունեցողների համեմատ: Այս արդյունքը համապատասխանում է նույնիսկ վիտամին D-ի նույնական ընդունման և արևի տակ գտնվելու դեպքում,- ասել է սննդաբան և էնդոկրինոլոգ Դիանա Էրիկենովան:

Վիտամին D-ի անբավարարությունը ճարպակալման դեպքում կապված է այս վիտամինի նյութափոխանակության առանձնահատկությունների հետ, որոնք կապված են մարմնի ավելորդ քաշի հետ: Վիտամին D-ի և ավելորդ քաշի միջև կապը համարվում է երկկողմանի. ճարպակալումը կարող է խանգարել վիտամինի կլանմանը, իսկ դրա անբավարարությունը կարող է նպաստել քաշի ավելացմանը: Գործնականում երկու գործընթացներն էլ կարող են տեղի ունենալ միաժամանակ:

«Վիտամին D-ն կուտակվում է ճարպային բջիջներում և դառնում անհասանելի օրգանիզմի կողմից ակտիվ օգտագործման համար։ Սա նվազեցնում է դրա կոնցենտրացիան արյան մեջ, նույնիսկ սննդից և հավելումներից բավարար քանակությամբ ընդունելու դեպքում։ Վիտամին D-ի ակտիվ ձևի արտադրությունը լյարդում և երիկամներում նվազում է, հատկապես լյարդի ճարպային հիվանդություն ունեցող մարդկանց մոտ։ Սա հանգեցնում է վիտամին D-ի անբավարարության, նույնիսկ եթե սննդից բավարար քանակությամբ վիտամին է ընդունվում», - բացատրեց բժիշկը։

Վիտամին D-ի անբավարարությունը կարող է հանգեցնել ինսուլինային դիմադրության, որը վատթարացնում է ճարպակալմամբ հիվանդների նյութափոխանակության վիճակը՝ հանգեցնելով ճարպային հյուսվածքի առաջացման աճի։

«Մասնագետները խորհուրդ են տալիս կանխարգելիչ նպատակներով ճարպակալմամբ տառապող անհատների մոտ վիտամին D-ի դեղաչափը ավելացնել 1.5-2 անգամ կամ մինչև 4000 ՄՄ/օր՝ միաժամանակ վերահսկելով արյան մեջ վիտամին D-ի մակարդակը», - բացատրեց բժիշկը։
