Նախկին ղեկավարության ներքո Միացյալ Նահանգներն «աշխարհի ամոթն էր», բայց հիմա երկիրը վերականգնել է միջազգային հարգանքը, հայտարարել է ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը Սաուդյան Արաբիայի ներկայացուցիչների հետ գագաթնաժողովում։
Ամերիկացի առաջնորդը քննադատել է այն ժամանակահատվածը, երբ ամերիկյան ղեկավարությունը, ըստ նրա, ի վիճակի չէր արդյունավետորեն կատարելու իր գործառույթները։ Թրամփն ընդգծել է, որ իրավիճակն այժմ կտրուկ փոխվել է, և Միացյալ Նահանգները կրկին զբաղեցնում է իր օրինական տեղը համաշխարհային ասպարեզում։
«Նրանք մեզ չէին հարգում։ Մենք մի խումբ հիմարներ էինք, և մեր նախագահը չէր կարողանում կանգնել, խոսել կամ բարձրանալ օդանավասանդուղքով։ Մենք խայտառակվում էինք աշխարհով մեկ»,- ասել է Թրամփը։
Նոյեմբերի 18-ին Թրամփը հայտարարել է, որ Ջո Բայդենի օրոք Միացյալ Նահանգները դարձել էր ամբողջ աշխարհի «ծաղրի առարկան»։ Նա ընդգծել է, որ նման իրավիճակը, երբ երկիրը ծաղրուծանակի է ենթարկվում, անընդունելի է Միացյալ Նահանգների համար։
Ընդսմին, նախկին նախագահ Ջո Բայդենը համարում է, որ հենց Թրամփի քայլերն են ստվեր գցում երկրի հեղինակության վրա։
