Կորոնավիրուսից ապաքինված մարդկանց արյան մեջ հայտնաբերվել են աննորմալ կպչուն «միկրոթրոմբներ», որոնք կապված են քրոնիկ հոգնածության, ուշադրության դեֆիցիտի խանգարման և շնչառական խնդիրների հետ։ Ուսումնասիրության արդյունքները հրապարակվել են «Բժշկական վիրուսաբանության հանդեսում» (JMV):
Գիտնականները հայտնաբերել են, որ այս միկրոթրոմբները խիտ կոմպլեքսներ են կազմում NET կառուցվածքների հետ՝ իմունային բջիջների կողմից պաթոգենները որսալու համար արտազատվող ԴՆԹ-ի և ֆերմենտների ցանցերի հետ։ Նման կոմպլեքսները գրեթե 20 անգամ ավելի տարածված են COVID-ով վարակված հիվանդների մոտ, քան առողջ անհատների մոտ։
Մանրամասն վերլուծությունը ցույց տվեց, որ այս հիվանդների մոտ միկրոթրոմբները ավելի մեծ են, ավելի խիտ և ավելի դժվար են քայքայվում։ Սա կարող է խաթարել արյան հոսքը նույնիսկ ամենափոքր անոթներում և խթանել օրգանիզմում երկարատև բորբոքումը։ Այս գործընթացները կարող են նաև հիմք հանդիսանալ COVID-ից հետո համախտանիշի կայուն ճանաչողական և ֆիզիկական ախտանիշների համար։
Արյան նմուշների միջև տարբերությունն այնքան ակնհայտ էր, որ ժամանակակից սարքերի ալգորիթմը կարողացավ տարբերակել COVID-ից հետո հիվանդներին 91% ճշգրտությամբ՝ հիմնվելով միկրոթրոմբիների մեկ տեսակի վրա։ Գիտնականները ենթադրում են, որ միկրոթրոմբների և NET կառուցվածքների համադրությունը կարող է դառնալ COVID-ից հետո համախտանիշի առաջին օբյեկտիվ բիոմարկերը և նպաստել ախտորոշման և բուժման նոր մեթոդների մշակմանը։
