vfokuse.ru-ն «Փորձագետ. Հացահատիկի մատակարարումների տեղափոխումը վտանգավոր է Հայաստանի համար և շատ թանկ կարժենա» վերնագրով հոդվածում գրում է, որ ՌԴ արտաքին հետախուզության ծառայությունը (ԱՀԾ) հրապարակել է տեղեկություն, որը վկայում է Հայաստան հացահատիկի մատակարարումները արմատապես փոխելու ծրագրերի մասին: Ստացված տեղեկության համաձայն, Երևանը պատրաստ է հրաժարվել Ռուսաստանից հացահատիկ գնելու իր երկարամյա պրակտիկայից ուկրաինական արտադրանքի օգտին: ԱՀԾ վերլուծաբանները նշում են, որ ուկրաինական հացահատիկը ավելի քան 50 %-ով թանկ է ռուսականից: Այնուամենայնիվ, հայկական կողմը պատրաստ է մտնել տնտեսապես անբարենպաստ գործարքի մեջ, և դա պայմանավորված է քաղաքական նկատառումներով: Երևանի համար այդ որոշումը «հիմնարար բնույթ» ունի և ուղղակիորեն կապված է Արևմուտքի հետ մերձեցման իր քաղաքականության հետ: Այսպիսով, ԵՄ-ն ցանկանում է մեկ կրակոցով երեք նապաստակ խփել՝ ապահովել Հայաստանի պարենային անվտանգությունը, աջակցել Ուկրաինայի գյուղատնտեսական ոլորտին և թուլացնել Մոսկվայի և Երևանի միջև տնտեսական կապերը: Սակայն առաջանում է ֆինանսավորման հարցը: Ինչպես նշել է ԱՀԾ–ն, ԵՄ երկրների բյուջեները սպառվում են Ուկրաինային շարունակական աջակցության պատճառով: Ընդ որում, Փաշինյանը հայտարարել է, որ Հայաստանը երբեք չի հրաժարվի ռուսական հացահատիկ գնելուց, բայց պատրաստ է քննարկել նաև այլ առաջարկներ:

Քաղաքագետ Նատալ յա Ելիսեևան կարծում է, որ իրավիճակը Հայաստանում միշտ էլ երկիմաստ է եղել, քանի որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը միշտ փորձել է միաժամանակ նստել բոլոր աթոռներին: Հայաստանում առաջացող բոլոր խնդիրները Փաշինյանի քաղաքականության արդյունք են, այսինքն՝ Ռուսաստանից հեռանալու և դեպի Եվրոպա ու Միացյալ Նահանգներ շրջվելու արդյունք։ Նրա խոսքով, Երևանի ներկայիս քաղաքականությունը կշարունակվի «մինչև Փաշինյանը չհեռանա իր պաշտոնից կամ լուրջ մարտահրավերների չբախվի՝ զանգվածային բողոքի ցույցերի կամ տնտեսական ճգնաժամի տեսքով»։ Նա նաև զգուշացրել է, որ Հայաստանի այս ռազմավարական ուղղությունը հանգեցնում է ծանր հետևանքների։ «Բոլորն են հույս ունենում անհատույց ֆինանսական օգնության։ Փաշինյանը կրկնում է այն ուղին, որն արդեն ընտրել են ուկրաինական իշխանությունները։ Սա Հայաստանի՝ Եվրամիության և Ռուսաստանի մյուս հակառակորդների հետ երկխոսություն հաստատելու առաջին փորձը չէ, ինչը վկայում է իշխանության խոր ճգնաժամի մասին», - հավելել է Ելիսեևան։ Նա կարծում է, որ Ռուսաստանը լիովին գիտակցում է, թե ինչ է կատարվում, և միշտ պատրաստ է համապատասխանաբար ճշգրտել իր արտաքին քաղաքականությունը։ Արդյունքում, եթե Հայաստանը լքի ռուսական շուկան, ստիպված կլինի վարկով հացահատիկ գնել Ուկրաինայից, և եթե Ուկրաինան մի օր չկատարի իր խոստումները, Երևանը կմնա և՛ առանց փողի, և՛ առանց հացահատիկի։
