Իսրայելի դատախազությունը մեղադրանք է առաջադրել մի տղամարդու դեմ, որը ենթադրաբար իրանական գործակալներին տեղեկություններ է փոխանցել Իսրայելի ռազմավարական օբյեկտների՝ ներառյալ բանակային և ռազմաօդային բազաների մասին, ինչպես նաև տվյալներ, որոնք ստացել է իր ընկերուհուց՝ պահեստազորի զինծառայողից, հաղորդում է Times of Israel-ը։
Մեղադրյալը՝ 27-ամյա Շիմոն Ազարզարը, հոկտեմբերին ձերբակալվել է իր ընկերուհու հետ՝ անվտանգության խախտումների կասկածանքով։ Ըստ հաղորդման, նա ընկերուհուց տեղեկություններ է կորզել, երբ վերջինս ծառայություն է անցել ռազմաօդային ուժերի պահեստազորային բազայում։ Երկուսն էլ բնակվում են Կիրյաթ Յամում՝ Հայֆայից հյուսիս։
Ոստիկանությունը պնդում է, որ Ազարզարը «Իսրայելի գաղտնի օբյեկտների լուսանկարներ և տեղակայման տվյալներ է փոխանցել, իսկ երբեմն առաջարկել է կարևոր տեղեկություններ ուղարկել իր հովանավորներին՝ Իսրայելի պաշտպանության բանակի բազաներից»։
Ոստիկանությունը հավելել է, որ նա ավելի քան մեկ տարի կապ է պահպանել Իրանի հետախուզության գործակալների հետ և ստացել է թվային փոխանցումներ՝ լրտեսական հանձնարարությունները կատարելու դիմաց։ Պաշտոնյաները չեն հստակեցրել՝ արդյոք նրա ընկերուհու դեմ նույնպես մեղադրանք կառաջադրվի։ Այսօր առավոտյան Հայֆայի շրջանային դատարանում նրան պաշտոնապես մեղադրանք է ներկայացվել։
