Թրամփը ցանկանում է Նոբելյան մրցանակ ստանալ, ուստի նա ձգտում է լուծել հակամարտությունները, ներառյալ՝ Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև։ Դա է նրա գործողությունների սկզբնապատճառը։ Դրա մասին NEWS.am-ի «Ուժի գործոն» հաղորդման ժամանակ հայտարարել է ամերիկացի քաղաքագետ, ԱՄՆ 43-րդ նախագահ Ջորջ Բուշ կրտսերի Ռուսաստանի և Եվրասիայի հարցերով նախկին օգնական Թոմաս Գրեհեմը։

«ԱՄՆ-ը շահագրգռված է նրանով, ինչ տեղի է ունենում ձեր տարածաշրջանում և ակտիվորեն ներգրավված է այստեղ»,- նշել է նա։

Գրեհեմը չի բացառել այն հնարավորությունը, որ «Թրամփի ուղին» ստեղծում է ընդդեմ Իրանի։ Նրա խոսքով՝ Իրանը շարունակում է լուրջ խնդիր լինել Թրամփի վարչակազմի համար, և նրան վերահսկելու խնդիրը դեռևս լուրջ գլխացավանք է։

 «Դա մեծ հարց է։ Հարավային Կովկասն այս քաղաքականության մի մասն է։ Հետևաբար, կարծում եմ, որ ԱՄՆ գործողություններն այս տարածաշրջանում կապված են այն բանի հետ, ինչ այժմ տեղի է ունենում Մերձավոր Արևելքում, Գազայի հատվածում։ Առանցքային հարցերից մեկն Իրանի զսպումն է, և Հայաստանն ու Ադրբեջանն այս քաղաքականության գործոններն են»,- ասել է նա։

Գրեհեմը կարծում է, որ ուկրաինական հակամարտության պատճառով Մոսկվան այլևս նույն ուշադրությունը չի դարձնում Հարավային Կովկասի տարածաշրջանին, ինչպես նախկինում էր։

«Այն փաստը, որ Թրամփը կարգավորեց Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև տարանցիկ ուղու հարցը, արդեն շատ բանի մասին է վկայում։ Ըստ իս, Ռուսաստանի դիրքերը տարածաշրջանում թուլանում են և կշարունակեն թուլանալ, քանի որ ռուս-ուկրաինական հակամարտությունը շարունակվում է»,- ընդգծել է նա։

Գրեհեմը նշել է, որ Իսրայելը լավ հարաբերություններ ունի Ադրբեջանի հետ, և քանի որ երկու երկիրն էլ ցանկանում են զսպել Իրանի հավակնություններն իրենց տարածաշրջաններում, նրանց դաշնակցային հարաբերությունները չեն շարունակվի։

Նրա գնահատմամբ՝ Հարավային Կովկասը աստիճանաբար Մերձավոր Արևելքում հակամարտության կարգավորման գործոն է դառնում։

«Ընդ որում խաղացողները շատ են։ Ոչ միայն Իրանը, Իսրայելը, Ադրբեջանը և Թուրքիան են, այլև Միացյալ Նահանգները և Սաուդյան Արաբիան, որոնք ևս իրենց դերն են խաղում։ Ուկրաինայում հակամարտության ավարտից հետո Ռուսաստանը նույնպես կփորձի ամրապնդել տարածաշրջանում իր դիրքերը»։

ԱՄՆ-ի հետաքրքրությունը Հարավային Կովկասի նկատմամբ այժմ որոշվում է Թրամփի դիրքորոշմամբ։ Թե ինչ կլինի նրա՝ պաշտոնը թողնելուց հետո, և արդյոք այս հետաքրքրությունը կշարունակվի, մեծ հարց է։ Դա կախված է հաջորդ նախագահի քաղաքականությունից։

Հայաստանի հարավային մասը կարող է վերածվել ռազմական բախման օջախի. դա հնարավոր է։ Երևանը պետք է մտածի, թե ինչպես լավագույնս առաջ շարժվել և ում հետ համագործակցել տարածաշրջանում իր դիրքերը պաշտպանելու համար։ Սակայն դա չի նշանակում, որ հակամարտությունն անխուսափելի է»,- եզրափակել է Գրեհեմը։
