Եթե անցնեք Wi-Fi-ով սրճարանի կողքով, ձեզ կարող են նույնականացնել, նույնիսկ եթե ձեզ հետ բջջային հեռախոս չունեք: Կարլսրուեի տեխնոլոգիական ինստիտուտի (KIT) հետազոտողները գտել են մարդկանց նույնականացնելու միջոց՝ պարզապես գրանցելով Wi-Fi տրաֆիկը, սա զգալի ռիսկ է ներկայացնում անձնական տվյալների պաշտպանության համար:
Փորձերը, որոնց արդյունքները կներկայացվեն Թայբեյում կայանալիք համակարգչային և հաղորդակցական անվտանգության ACM կոնֆերանսում, ցույց են տվել, որ ստանդարտ Wi-Fi սարքերը ստեղծում են մի դաշտ, որը վերլուծելիս թույլ է տալիս, որ դրա մեջ գտնվող մարդիկ ընկալվեն այնպես, կարծես նրանց նկարահանում է տեսախցիկը։
«Ռադիոալիքների տարածումը վերահսկելով՝ մենք կարող ենք ստեղծել շրջակա միջավայրի և ներկա մարդկանց պատկեր։ Այն աշխատում է սովորական տեսախցիկի նման, բացառությամբ այն բանի, որ մեր դեպքում ռադիոալիքներն օգտագործվում են հայտնաբերման համար՝ լույսի փոխարեն», - ասում է KASTEL-ի՝ Տեղեկատվական անվտանգության և հուսալիության ինստիտուտի պրոֆեսոր Թորստեն Շտրուֆեն ։ «Այսպիսով, կարևոր չէ՝ դուք Wi-Fi սարք եք կրում, թե ոչ»։
Անձնական գաջեթն անջատելը չի օգնի. բավական է, որ տարածքում աշխատում են այլ Wi-Fi սարքեր։

«Այս տեխնոլոգիան յուրաքանչյուր ռաութերը վերածում է պոտենցիալ հսկողության սարքի։ Եթե դուք պարբերաբար անցնում եք Wi-Fi ցանց ունեցող սրճարանի կողքով, ձեզ կարող են նույնականացնել այնտեղ, իսկ ավելի ուշ, օրինակ, պետական մարմինների կամ ընկերությունների կողմից», - զգուշացնում է KASTEL-ից Ջուլիան Թոդտը։

Հատուկ սարքավորումներ չեն պահանջվում
Ի տարբերություն լիդար կամ Wi-Fi ալիքների վերլուծության միջոցով իրականացվող հարձակումների, այս տեխնոլոգիան հատուկ սարքավորումներ չի պահանջում. ստանդարտ Wi-Fi սարքը բավարար է: Մեթոդը գործում է՝ հենվելով ցանցի այլ սարքերի վրա, որոնք պարբերաբար չգաղտնագրված ճառագայթաձևավորման հետադարձ կապի ազդանշաններ են ուղարկում ռաութերին, դրանք դարձնելով հասանելի ցանկացած անձի համար, ով գտնվում է շառավղում: Այս տվյալները կարող են օգտագործվել դեմքերը ճանաչելու համար. եթե մեքենայական ուսուցման մոդելը հարմարեցված է առաջադրանքի համար, դա կարող է կատարվել ընդամենը մի քանի վայրկյանում:

«Այս տեխնոլոգիան հզոր է, բայց միևնույն ժամանակ այն ռիսկեր է ստեղծում մեր հիմնարար իրավունքների, մասնավորապես՝ անձնական կյանքի անձեռնմխելիության իրավունքի համար», - եզրափակում է Ստրուֆը։
