«Խաղաղության մասին խոսակցությունները, դրանք կապիտուլյացիայի մասին խոսակցություններ են», - 2017 թ. դեռ ընդդիմադիր պատգամավոր Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը իր ասուլիսում արել է այս հայտարարությունը։ Նա նշել է, որ եթե որևէ պետություն ուզում է խաղաղություն, նա պետք է պատրաստ լինի պատերազմի։ «Եվ պետք է «փոխզիջում» բառը հայոց բառապաշարից արմատախիլ անենք, քանի դեռ Ադրբեջանը խոսում է Ստեփանակերտում և Երևանում թեյ խմելու մասին։ Փոխզիջման մասին կարելի է լրջորեն խոսել միայն այն դեպքում և այն պարագայում, երբ Ադրբեջանը հստակ ուղերձ հղի, որ ինքը պատրաստ է քննարկել և ինքը պատրաստ է ընդունել Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի ինքնորոշման, ժողովրդի ինքնորոշման իրավունքները»։

Ասուլիսից մի հատված երեկվանից ակտիվորեն շրջանառվում է սոցիալական ցանցերում՝ որպես Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի անսկզբունքայնության ևս մեկ դրվագ։ Մինչ 44-օրյա պատերազմը «Արցախը Հայաստան է և վերջ», «Նոր պատերազմ, նոր տարածքներ» աղաղակող վարչախմբի ներկայացուցիչները այսօր «խաղաղության» այնպիսի անողնաշար խոսույթ են ձևավորել, որ անգամ Ադրբեջանում են ապշել։ Դե իսկ Ադրբեջանի արտգործնախարար Ջեյհուն Բայրամովի վերջին բացահայտումները վկայում են, որ Փաշինյանն ինքն է մեղավոր պատերազմ սադրելու մեջ։

Փաշինյանական քարոզչամեքենան, իհարկե, մոռանում է վերը նշվածը և նախկին նախագահներին մեղադրանքներ հասցեագրում՝ իրերն իրենց անուններով կոչելու համար։ Անսկզբունքային ղեկավարն ազգային անվտանգության սպառնալիք է ցանկացած երկրի համար. Փաշինյանը գործով ապացուցել է այս աքսիոմը։ Վստահաբար առաջիկայում էլ շարունակելու է նույն ոգով, և, եթե նրան չհեռացնեն իշխանությունից, Հայաստանին նոր արհավիրքներ են սպասվում։
