Հուլիսի 10-ին, ժամը 16-ի սահմաններում, ոստիկանության Երևան քաղաքի վարչության ՔՀԲ-ում ստացված օպերատիվ տեղեկություններն իրացնելիս ոստիկանության Կենտրոնականի բաժնի ՔՀԲ աշխատակիցները ՊՊԾ երրորդ հատուկ գումարտակի ծառայողների հետ Մաշտոցի պողոտայի և Պուշկին փողոցի խաչմերուկի մոտակայքից ապօրինի զենք զինամթերք պահելու և կրելու կասկածանքով ոստիկանության Կենտրոնականի բաժին բերման են ենթարկել 1977թվականին ծնված Արթուր Ղազարյանին՝ Տույ մականվամբ, 1981թվականին ծնված Արթուր Բորյանին /մականունը Կվաս/, 1988 թվականին ծնված Հրանտ Անանյանին, 1979թվականին ծնված, նախկինում 3 անգամ դատապարտված Սարգիս Հարությունյանին, 1984 թվականին ծնված Արայիկ Խաչատրյանին, 1976 թվականին ծնված, նախկինում դատապարտված Արմեն Մուրադյանին և 1985 թվականին ծնված Սարգիս Զարգարյանին:

Արթուր Ղազարյանի անձնական խուզարկությամբ հայտնաբերվել է անհայտ մակնիշի 9 մմ տրամաչափի ատրճանակ լիցքավորված 17 փամփուշտով, Անանյանի անձնական խուզարկությամբ հայտնաբերվել է Մակարով տեսակի ատրճանակ լիցքավորված 9 փամփուշտով:

Ոստիկանության Կենտրոնականի բաժնի հատուկ պահպանվող տարածք է տեղափոխվել Ղազարյանին պատկանող զրահապատ ԲՄՎ մակնիշի ՌԴ պետհամարանիշերով ավտոմեքենան որի սրահից զննությամբ հայտնաբերվել է երկու հատ 7.62 մմ. տրամաչափի որսորդական ինքնաձիգ՝ լիցքավորված 18 և 9 փամփուշտով: Հայտնաբերվածն առգրավվել և ուղարկվել է փորձաքննության:
