Միացյալ Արաբական Էմիրությունները կատարել են ևս մեկ համարձակ քայլ դեպի մաքուր էներգետիկայի անցում։ 2025 թվականի հոկտեմբերին երկիրը պաշտոնապես հիմք է դրել աշխարհի խոշորագույն ինտեգրված արևային և կուտակիչ համակարգերի նախագծին՝ 22 մլրդ դիրհամ (մոտ 6 մլրդ ԱՄՆ դոլար) արժեքով։

Նախագիծը մշակվել է Masdar-ի՝ Էմիրությունների վերականգնվող էներգիայի առաջատար ընկերության կողմից՝ համագործակցությամբ Emirates Water and Electricity Company-ի (EWEC) հետ։ Այն նպատակ ունի վերաիմաստավորել արևային էներգիայի հնարավորությունները՝ համադրելով 5,2 գիգավատտ հզորությամբ արեգակնային կայանը և աննախադեպ 19 գիգավատտ-ժամ տարողությամբ մարտկոցային կուտակման համակարգը։

Այս համադրությունը կտրամադրի շուրջ 1 գիգավատտ անընդհատ, մաքուր էներգիա՝ օր ու գիշեր՝ անկախ եղանակային պայմաններից։ Այս նախագիծը պարզապես հզորությունների ընդլայնում չէ․ այն նոր էջ է բացում երկրների համար՝ ապահովելու հուսալի և զրոյական ածխաթթվային արտանետումներով էներգամատակարարում՝ կիրառելով առաջադեմ կուտակման տեխնոլոգիաներ, արհեստական բանականություն և խելացի ցանցերի ինտեգրում։

Տասնամյակներ շարունակ Էմիրությունների էներգետիկ համբավը հիմնված էր նավթի վրա։ Սակայն վերջին տարիներին երկիրը դարձել է վերականգնվող աղբյուրներ ներդնելու ամենաակտիվ կողմնակիցներից։ Masdar–EWEC արևային և էներգիայի կուտակման համալիրն այս անցման առանցքային բաղադրիչն է։ 2027-ին ավարտից հետո այն ոչ միայն կարտադրի մեծածավալ արևային էներգիա, այլև կկուտակիչ համակարգի միջոցով կպահպանի առավելությունները օրային ժամերին՝ ապահովելով անխափան համարժեք մատակարարում նաև մայրամուտից հետո։

Հայաստանում արևային պանելներ արտադրող առաջին և միակ ընկերությունը Սոլարոնն է։
