Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության վարչապետի տեղակալ՝ Դալռուսական շրջանի նախագահի լիազոր ներկայացուցիչ Յուրի Տրուտնևը ասել է, որ հատուկ ռազմական գործողության գոտում (ՍՈՎ) Ուգլեդարի հատվածում անձամբ է հարուածել ուկրաինացու դիրքերին։ Տեղեկությունը լուսաբանել է ռազմական թղթակից Սեմյոն Պեգովը՝ WarGonzo Telegram-յան ալիքով ներկայացրած տեսանյութի համատեքստում։
Տրուտնևը Պեգովին պատմել է, որ մեկ այլուղղությունում՝ նշված շրջանում, ընկել է տակտիկական կրակահերթի տակ և պատասխան կրակ է բացել ինքը՝ սնայպերային ռմբարկուից։ Պեգովի տեսանյութում երևում է տունը, որտեղ պաշտոնյային ենթարկվել է կրակոցի, և Տրուտնևն ինքն է հաստատել իր մասնակցությունը: նա նաև նշել է, որ դեպքի հանդեպ «չէր ունենում զգացողություն, որ չի վերադառնալու»։
