Պատմական է ձեր այցը Հայաստան, եւ դուք պատմական ժամանակաշրջանում եք մեր երկրում: Շուրջ 30 տարվա հակամարտությունից հետո տարածաշրջանային համագործակցության հույս է արթնացել, ինչը կարեւոր է նաեւ մեր բարեկամ երկրների համար: Մեր տարածաշրջանի երկրների միջեւ սահմանների եւ ճանապարհների բացման արդյունքում ներդրումներ ներգրավելու մեծ հնարավորություններ են ստեղծվում. ողջունելով Սաուդյան Արաբիայի Թագավորության Խորհրդատվական խորհրդի Սաուդյան Արաբիա-Հայաստան բարեկամական խմբի նախագահ Ալի Մուհամմադ Ալ-Շահրանիի գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը` ասել է Արտաքին հարաբերությունների մշտական հանձնաժողովի նախագահ, Հայաստան-Սաուդյան Արաբիա բարեկամական խմբի ղեկավար Սարգիս Խանդանյանը:
Հանդիպումը տեղի է ունեցել նոյեմբերի 6-ին, որին մասնակցել են նաեւ բարեկամական խմբի անդամներ ՀՀ ԱԺ «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր» խմբակցության պատգամավորներ Հասմիկ Հակոբյանը, Տաթեւիկ Գասպարյանը, Արմեն Խաչատրյանը, Բաբկեն Թունյանը, Էդուարդ Աղաջանյանը եւ ՀՀ ԱԺ «Հայաստան» խմբակցության պատգամավոր Աննա Գրիգորյանը:
«Մոտ օրերս կլրանա մեր երկու պետությունների միջեւ դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների հաստատման երկու տարին, եւ, կարծում եմ, որ երկու երկրները տարբեր ոլորտներում հարաբերությունները զարգացնելու մեծ ներուժ ունեն»,- ասել է Սարգիս Խանդանյանը՝ շնորհակալություն հայտնելով Ալի Մուհամմադ Ալ-Շահրանին բարեկամական խորհրդարանական խումբ ձեւավորելու նախաձեռնության համար:
Ալի Մուհամմադ Ալ-Շահրանին նշել է, որ կարեւորում են Հայաստանի հետ հարաբերությունների զարգացումը: Նա համոզմունք է հայտնել, որ այս այցը նոր ձեւավորվող հարաբերությունների համար գործուն նշանակություն կունենա եւ հիմք կհանդիսանա միջխորհրդարանական համագործակցության ու հետագա նախաձեռնությունների իրականացման համար:
Անդրադառնալով 2025 թվականի օգոստոսի 8-ին Վաշինգտոնում ԱՄՆ նախագահի մասնակցությամբ Հայաստանի եւ Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարների միջեւ ստորագրված համատեղ հռչակագրին՝ Սարգիս Խանդանյանը նշել է, որ Հայաստանը հավատարիմ է խաղաղության ռազմավարությանը եւ հետեւողականորեն շարունակելու է խաղաղության օրակարգի իրագործումը՝ կառուցողական երկխոսության միջոցով: Ալի Մուհամմադ Ալ-Շահրանին ողջունել է խաղաղության հաստատմանն ուղղված ջանքերը՝ կարեւորելով Հայաստանի եւ Ադրբեջանի միջեւ դեռեւս չլուծված խնդիրների՝ երկխոսության ճանապարհով լուծումը:
Բարեկամական խմբի անդամներն ընդգծել են Սաուդյան Արաբիայի հետ բոլոր բնագավառներում համագործակցության զարգացման անհրաժեշտությունը:
Մտքեր են փոխանակվել զբոսաշրջության, էներգետիկայի, բարձր տեխնոլոգիաների բնագավառում համագործակցության զարգացման, փոխադարձ առեւտրի, ներդրումների խթանմանն ուղղված քայլերի, կրթական ծրագրերի վերաբերյալ:
