Օրբելին կենտրոնը և հայտնի «Ֆեյքերի ՊՈԱԿ»-ը նախօրեին ֆորում են հրավիրել, որին մասնակցել է նաև Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը, իսկ նրա ամբողջ ելույթը նվիրված է եղել հենց Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի հայտարարությունները արդարացնելուն։ Մասնավորապես, պատասխանելով լրագրողի դիտարկմանը, թե Ադրբեջանի նախագահը Սևանա լիճը անվանում է «Գյոյչա», Փաշինյանը սկսել է խուսանավել։

«Ձեր հարցով իրականում դուք ինձ շատ դժվար վիճակի մեջ եք դնում, ես երկընտրանքի առաջ եմ՝ ձեր հարցին պատասխանելուց առաջ արդյո՞ք ընդգծեմ, որ Ադրբեջանի նախագահի՝ ձեր ասածը չի արտահայտում ամբողջ պատկերը, որովհետև Ադրբեջանի նախագահն ասել է, որ «ցարական քարտեզներում եթե նայենք, Սևանա լիճ չկա, կա այլ անուն», - ասել է Փաշինյանը՝ պնդելով, որ Ալիևը ոչ թե ասել է, որ Սևանա լճի անունը Գյոյչա է, այլ ասել է, որ «եթե նայենք ցարական...»։

Ըստ էության, Փաշինյանի իշխանությունը ինքն էլ անակնկալի է եկել Ադրբեջանի նախագահի այս հայտարարություններից, առավել ևս, որ Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունները վերջին շրջանում բավականին լուրջ աջակցում են Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին․ սահմանին որևէ կրակոց չկա, հռետորաբանությունն էլ, ըստ իշխանությունների, փոխվել է դրական ուղղությամբ։ Բայց Ալիևի հայտարարությունը բավականին լուրջ հարված էր Փաշինյանի հեղինակությանը, և այժմ վերջինս չի կարողանում ոչ արժանապատվորեն արձագանքել Ադրբեջանի նախագահին, ոչ էլ կարողանում է հակադրվել, և արդյունքում մնացել է փնթի «կռուտիտների» հույսին։

Զուր չէ քաղաքական վերլուծաբանների այն գնահատականը, որ խորհրդարանական ընտրություններում Ալիևը ձևակերպեց քվեաթերթիկի բովանդակությունը՝ «Ցանկանո՞ւմ ենք Սևան, թե՞ Գյոյչա», և, ըստ էության, Փաշինյանի «ՔՊ թե՞ պատերազմ» ձևակերպմանը շատ ավելի լուրջ այլընտրանք դարձավ «Ալիևի երկընտրանքը», որի դեպքում Փաշինյանի պարտությունը անխուսափելի է դառնում։
