Փաշինյանական իշխանությունը հիմա էլ փչացնում է հայ-վրացական հարաբերությունները՝ հաշվի չառնելով դրա հնարավոր հետևանքները Հայաստանի համար։ Երևանում կայացած «Եվրանեսթ»-ի խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովը հոկտեմբերի 31-ին հրապարակել էր բանաձև, որը միաժամանակ անդրադարձել է Վրաստանում ստեղծված իրավիճակին։ Բանաձևում նշվում է, որ Վրաստանում վերջին իրադարձությունները ցույց են տվել ժողովրդավարության անկումը։ «Վրացական երազանք»-ը ի սկզբանե էր բոյկոտել Եվրանեսթի երևանյան հավաքը՝ խորհրդարանական պատվիրակություն չգործուղելով Հայաստան։
Վրաստանի խորհրդարանից արդեն քննադատություն են հնչում հայ գործընկերների հասցեին՝ հակավրացական ձևակերպումներին կողմ քվեարկելու համար։ Արևելյան գործընկերության Եվրանեսթ խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովում Հայաստանի պատվիրակության ղեկավար, «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագրի» պատգամավոր Մարիա Կարապետյանը չի հերքում, որ հայ պատվիրակները կողմ են քվեարկել հակավրացական ձևակերպումներին, պնդել է, թե վեհաժողովում Հայաստանի պատվիրակության թե՛ կառավարող ուժի, թե՛ ընդդիմադիր պատգամավորները կողմ չեն քվեարկել Վրաստանին վերաբերող փոփոխությունների առաջարկներին։
«Վրաստանին վերաբերող այդ փոփոխություններին Հայաստանի պատվիրակության անդամները կա՛մ ձեռնպահ են քվեարկել, կա՛մ չեն մասնակցել քվեարկությանը առհասարակ։ Միայն մեկ առաջարկ է եղել, որը վերաբերել է «Հարավային Օսեթիա» բառերը «Ցխինվալիի շրջան» բառերով փոխարինելուն, որին Հայաստանի պատգամավորներից մի քանիսը կողմ են քվեարկել։ Բոլոր փոփոխությունների քվեարկությունից հետո քվեարկության է դրվել ամբողջական բանաձևը, որը Հայաստանի համար կարևոր դրույթներ ուներ»,– ասել է Կարապետյանը՝ շեշտելով, որ կողմ են քվեարկել ընդհանուր բանաձևին։
Մինչդեռ հայկական կողմը կարող էր նախքան քվեարկությունը կոմունիկացվել պաշտոնական Թբիլիսիի հետ, որևէ կերպ իր վերապահումը հայտներ հակավրացական ձևակերպումների մասով, կամ էլ այնպես աներ, որ Վրաստանը քվեարկությունը չընկալեր որպես իր դեմ գործողություն։ Իսկ այժմ, կրկին փչացնելով առանց այն էլ լարված հայ-վրացական հարաբերությունները, «Քաղպայմանագիրը» խնդիրներ է ստեղծում և առաջին հերթին՝ հայ տնտեսվարողների համար։
