Բժիշկները հայտնում են, որ վերջին ամիսներին շրջանառվող Կովիդ-19-ի նոր շտամները (հատկապես՝ Omicron-ի ենթատեսակները) երբեմն ուղեկցվում են ոչ միայն շնչառական, այլև նյարդաբանական և տեսողական ախտանշաններով։

 Ինչպես է վիրուսը ազդում աչքերի վրա

Հետազոտությունների համաձայն՝ որոշ հիվանդների մոտ կորոնավիրուսը կարող է առաջացնել․

  • կոնյուկտիվիտ (աչքերի կարմրություն և արցունքահոսություն),

  • տեսողության մառախլապատում,

  • աչքի նյարդերի բորբոքում, որը որոշ դեպքերում կարող է հանգեցնել կարճատև կամ նույնիսկ տևական տեսողության կորուստի։

Բժիշկների կարծիքով՝ սա պայմանավորված է նրանով, որ վիրուսը երբեմն ներթափանցում է օրգանիզմի նյարդային համակարգ՝ վնասելով տեսողական նյարդը։

Օրինակ՝ Բրիտանիայի և Հնդկաստանի մի քանի հիվանդանոցներ փաստագրել են դեպքեր, երբ երեխաներ և դեռահասներ Covid-ից հետո ժամանակավորապես կորցրել են տեսողությունը՝ աչքի նյարդաբորբի հետևանքով։ Բարեբախտաբար, մեծ մասում այն վերականգնվել է բուժման ընթացքում։

Բժիշկները խորհուրդ են տալիս ծնողներին ուշադրություն դարձնել հետևյալ ախտանիշներին՝

  • աչքերի ցավ կամ կարմրություն,

  • մշուշոտ տեսողություն,

  • լույսի նկատմամբ գերզգայունություն,

  • գլխացավեր կամ աչքերի ճնշման զգացում։

Եթե նման նշաններ են նկատվում հիվանդությունից հետո, անհրաժեշտ է անհապաղ դիմել ակնաբույժի կամ նյարդաբանի, քանի որ վաղ արձագանքը մեծացնում է տեսողության վերականգնման հնարավորությունը։
