Վաղարշապատում նախընտրական քարոզարշավի ամենաթեժ օրերն են. մասնակից կուսակցությունները հանրությանը ներկայացնում են իրենց մոտեցումները, տեսլականները, փորձում են ստանալ քաղաքացիների աջակցությունը։ Բայց մասնակից կուսակցություններից մեկը զբաղված է պարզ սադրանքներով և կեղծ «գործ տալով»։ Ավելի վաղ Վաղարշապատ խոշորացված համայնքում «Հանրապետություն» կուսակցության թեկնածու Հարություն Մկրտչյանը ֆեյսբուքյան գրառմամբ հայտնել էր, որ նոյեմբերի 1-ին կաթողիկոսի եղբայրը՝ Գևորգ Ներսիսյանը, իր որդիների հետ իբրև խոչընդոտել է նախընտրական քարոզչությանը։
Հաշվված ժամեր անց քննչականը քրեական վարույթ է հարուցել Ոսկեհատ գյուղի նախկին գյուղապետի և նրա որդու դեմ. 68-ամյա Գևորգ Ներսիսյանին և որդուն՝ Համբարձում Ներսիսյանին, կալանավորման նպատակով դատարան տանելու համար ձերբակալելու որոշում է կայացվել։ Փաստաբան Արա Զոհրաբյանի խոսքով՝ Ներսիսյաններին մեղադրում են խուլիգանության և քարոզչությանը խոչընդոտելու արարքներ կատարելու մեջ։
Զոհրաբյանը տեսանյութ է ներկայացրել, որտեղ որևէ միջադեպ արձանագրված չէ։ «Դեպքը տեղի է ունեցել այսպես. Համբարձումը նոյեմբերի 1-ին, ժամը 14:40-ի սահմաններում, իր տան դարպասի դիմաց կանգնած է եղել, իրեն է մոտեցել մի մարդ և առաջարկել է մասնակցել «Հանրապետություն» կուսակցության ժամը 16:00-ի հանդիպմանը։ Համբարձումը հրաժարվել է, նշված մարդը փորձել է համոզել, խոսել են, այնուհետև մոտեցել է Համբարձումի հայրը՝ Գևորգ Ներսիսյանը, երեքով խոսել են և խաղաղ բաժանվել։ Այս բոլորը տեսագրված է»,–նշված է գրառման մեջ։
Իշխանությունը Վաղարշապատի ընտրություններն օգտագործում է առաջին հերթին ամենայն հայոց կաթողիկոսին վնասելու համար, իսկ որպես գործիք օգտագործում է հենց Արամ Զ. Սարգսյանի գլխավորած կուսակցությանը, որն էլ հաճույքով դարձել է Փաշինյանի համար գործ սարքողը։
