Եթե մի քանի տարի առաջ ամուսնական պայմանագրերը խիստ հզվադեպ հանդիպող երեւույթ էին, ապա այսօր, դա չափազանց տարածված երեւույթ է՝ հատկապես հաշվի առնելով համաշխարհային ճգնաժամն ու ամուսնալուծությունների օրեցօր ավելացող քանակը։ Ամուսնալուծությունից հետո ոչ մի ինտիմ Փաստաբաններն ասում են, որ նախկինում ամուսնական պայմանագիրը համարվում էր անարգանք ամուսինների հանդեպ։
