Գյումրիում, ինչպես նաև Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու դեմ գործող իշխանությունների ձեռնարկած գործողությունները, չափազանց կոշտ հակազդեցությունը ընդդիմադիրներին, ինչպես նաև թափ հավաքող ու նախընտրական հռետորաբանությունը ևս մեկ անգամ մտահոգիչ մտքեր են առաջացնում՝ արդյոք Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը չի պատրաստվում արտահերթ ընտրությունների, և այժմ հնարավորություն է ստեղծում դա իրականացնելու համար։ Հիշեցնենք, գործող իշխանությունները բազմիցս հայտարարել են, որ արտահերթ խորհրդարանական ընտրությունների գնալու որևէ մտադրություն չունեն։ Բուն «Քաղպայմանագրի» ներսում էլ առանձնապես հակված չեն արտահերթի գնալու։

Բանն այն է, որպեսզի պատգամավորները հետագայում բավական բարձր թոշակ ստանան, պետք է Սահմանադրությամբ ամրագրված մեկ ամբողջական ժամկետ պաշտոնավարեն որպես պատգամավորներ։ «Քաղպայմանագրի» «սովածների» կոհորտան ոչ միայն այսօրվա հարցն է փորձում լուծել, այլ նաև ապագայում սեփական կերը տեղը պահելու հնարավորությունը, ուստի խմբակցության մեջ դեմ են արտահերթ ընտրություններ գնալու գաղափարին։ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին, բնականաբար, քիչ է հետաքրքրում սեփական կուսակիցների թոշակը, հատկապես ապագայում։ Նա այսօրվա խնդիր է լուծում և ամեն գնով փորձում է լավագույն տարբերակը գտնել իր համար։

Ինչպես արդեն նշել ենք, Փաշինյանը մերձավորների փոքր շրջապատի հետ քննարկում է արտահերթ ընտրությունների հնարավորությունը։ Չի բացառվում, որ Վաղարշապատի ընտրություններից անմիջապես հետո Փաշինյանը հայտարարի արտահերթ ընտրությունների գնալու հնարավորության մասին։ Փաստացի ընտրությունները այդ դեպքում կլինեն արդեն Ամանորից առաջ կամ, նույնիսկ, մի քանի օր անց, ինչը գործող իշխանություններին շատ ավելի հեշտ հնարավորություն կտա պայքարել ընդդիմության դեմ։
