Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի և նրա թիմի գործողությունները գնալով ավելի կանխատեսելի են դառնում։ Շաբաթներ շարունակ մամուլում տեղեկություններ են շրջանառվում, որ Փաշինյանը փորձելու է ձերբակալել և կալանավորել Գյումրիի քաղաքապետ Վարդան Ղուկասյանին։ Վերջինս էլ իր ղեկավարած խմբակցության հետ դիմել էր Հայաստանում հավատարմագրված 25 երկրների դեսպանություններին՝ նշելով, որ իր կյանքը ընդհուպ վտանգի տակ է։ Վարդան Ղուկասյանը նաև հայտարարել էր, որ պայքարելու է մինչև վերջ իր իրավունքների համար։ Նա փաստաբանի միջոցով հայց էր ներկայացրել դատարան ընդդեմ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի, ով Ազգային ժողովում հայտարարել էր, թե Հայաստանի ինքնիշխանության դեմ խոսողներին դուրս են շպրտելու քաղաքական համակարգից։

Այսօր վաղ առավոտյան շուրջ վեց տասնյակ ԱԱԾ-ականներ՝ Հակակոռուպցիոն կոմիտեի քննիչների հետ միասին, ներխուժել են Գյումրիի քաղաքապետարան, որտեղ իրավիճակը ծայրաստիճան լարվել է, աշխատակիցները փորձել են թույլ չտալ Վարդան Ղուկասյանի ձերբակալությունը։ Մեծ հավանականությամբ Ղուկասյանին կձերբակալեն, կտանեն Հակակոռուպցիոն կոմիտե և հերթական քրեական գործը կհարուցեն նրա դեմ։

Իհարկե, Գյումրիի քաղաքապետը հրեշտակ չէ, նախկինում էլ բազմիցս հայտնվել է քրեական տարբեր պատմությունների կենտրոնում, բայց այն, ինչ անում է փաշինյանական իշխանությունը Գյումրիում, ինչպես նաև այլ համայնքներում՝ փորձելով ամբողջությամբ իր ձեռքը վերցնել իշխանությունը, կալանավորել ընդդիմախոսներին, ևս մեկ անգամ փաստում է, որ Հայաստանում ամբողջատիրական համակարգ է ստեղծվել, իսկ Փաշինյանն էլ ուժային կառույցների աջակցությամբ փորձում է երկրում խեղդել ցանկացած ընդդիմադիր խոսք և այլակարծություն։
