ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը Fox News-ին տված հարցազրույցում հայտարարել է, որ Ուկրաինայից տարածքային զիջումներ է ակնկալում ցանկացած խաղաղության համաձայնագրի շրջանակում, որը նրա վարչակազմը ապագայում կկնքի Կիևի և Մոսկվայի միջև՝ Ռուսաստանի և Ուկրաինայի միջև գրեթե չորսամյա պատերազմին վերջ դնելու համար։

Մարիա Բարտիրոմոյի հետ հարցազրույցում ԱՄՆ նախագահը նշել է, որ գործարքի պայմաններով, որի հեղինակը Սպիտակ տունն է, Ռուսաստանին, հավանաբար, թույլ կտրվի պահպանել այն տարածքը, որը նա օկուպացրել է 2022 թվականի փետրվարից։

Հինգշաբթի օրը Թրամփը երկու ժամ հեռախոսազրույց է ունեցել Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի հետ, իսկ հաջորդ օրը հանդիպել է Վլադիմիր Զելենսկու հետ Սպիտակ տանը, որտեղ անհետացել են երկու տղամարդկանց միջև այս տարվա գարնանը կայացած հանդիպման ժամանակ առաջացած լարվածության բոլոր նշանները։

Կիրակի օրը Բարտիրոմոն Թրամփին հարցրել է, թե արդյոք նա հասկացել է, որ Պուտինը այդ խոսակցության ժամանակ հասկացրել է, որ «բաց է այս պատերազմը դադարեցնելու համար՝ առանց Ուկրաինայից զգալի սեփականություն վերցնելու»։

Թրամփը պատասխանել է. «Ես արել եմ, ես արել եմ»։ Բայց նրա պատասխանը փոխվել է, երբ Fox-ի հաղորդավարուհին ավարտել է իր հարցը և հարցրել, թե արդյոք Պուտինը կվերադարձնի՞ ուկրաինական տարածքը։

«Դե, նա ինչ-որ բան կվերցնի։ Ես նկատի ունեմ, նրանք վիճել են, և նա ունի, ըըը, նա ունի շատ, շատ սեփականություն։ Ես նկատի ունեմ, դուք գիտեք... նա որոշակի սեփականություն է շահել»,- ասել է Թրամփը։

«Դուք գիտեք, մենք միակ երկիրն ենք, որը պատերազմի է գնում, հաղթում է այն, իսկ հետո հեռանում է»,- կատակել է նա։
