Միացյալ Նահանգների փոխնախագահ Ջեյ Դի Վենսը և ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի հատուկ դեսպանորդ Սթիվ Ուիթքոֆը հաջորդ շաբաթ կայցելեն Իսրայել՝ Գազայի հատվածում հակամարտության կարգավորման շուրջ խաղաղության ծրագրի իրականացումն առաջ մղելու նպատակով։

«Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ այս մասին հայտնում է Իսրայելի պետական ​​​​հեռարձակող Kan-ը՝ հղում անելով աղբյուրին և նշելով, որ Վենսն Իսրայել կժամանի հոկտեմբերի 20-ին։

«Ուիթքոֆը նաև հաջորդ շաբաթ կժամանի Իսրայել՝ շարունակելու ԱՄՆ նախագահի՝ Գազայի հատվածում պատերազմը դադարեցնելու ծրագրի առաջխաղացումը»,- ասված է պետական ​​հեռարձակողի հաղորդագության մեջ։

Իսրայելի և պաղեստինյան ՀԱՄԱՍ շարժման միջև հրադադարի համաձայնագիրը ուժի մեջ է մտել հոկտեմբերի 10-ին։ Իսրայելի հետ համաձայնագրի շրջանակներում պաղեստինյան ՀԱՄԱՍ շարժումը ազատ է արձակել 2023 թվականի հոկտեմբերի 7-ից Գազայում պահվող 20 պատանդների՝ այդպիսով ազատելով մնացած բոլոր պատանդներին։ Պաղեստինյան բանտարկյալների հարցերով լրատվամիջոցների գրասենյակը հաստատել է, որ Իսրայելը, համաձայնագրի համաձայն, ազատ է արձակել Գազայի հատվածից անկլավ վերադարձած 1718 բանտարկյալների, ինչպես նաև ցմահ կամ երկարաժամկետ ազատազրկման դատապարտված 250 պաղեստինցի բանտարկյալների։ 

ՀԱՄԱՍԸ ներկայումս Իսրայելին է վերադարձնում գերության մեջ մահացած պատանդների մնացորդները։ Ըստ համաձայնագրի՝ պաղեստինյան կողմը պարտավոր է Իսրայելին վերադարձնել իր տիրապետության տակ մնացած հրեաների բոլոր 28 մարմինները, սակայն մինչ օրս վերադարձվել և նույնականացվել է միայն տասը մարմին։
