Մենք պատրաստվում ենք հայտարարել արտակարգ դրություն հայտարարելու որոշման մասին, համեյան դեպս մայրաքաղաքի տարածքում, հայտարարել է Պերուի վարչապետ Էռնեստո Ալվարեսը։
Լիմայում կառավարության դեմ բողոքի ցույցերի մասնակիցների և ոստիկանության միջև բախումների հետևանքով զոհվել է 32-ամյա մի տղամարդ, վիրավորվել է ավելի քան 100 մարդ, որոնց մեծ մասը ոստիկաններ են, հաղորդում է BBC-ն։
Բողոքի ցույցերը սկսվել են Խոսե Խերիի նախագահական երդմնակալությունից մեկ շաբաթ անց՝ Դինա Բոլուարտեի պաշտոնանկությունից հետո, որը տեղի է ունեցել անձնական հարստացման և բողոքի ցույցերը ճնշելու մեղադրանքների ֆոնին։
Չորեքշաբթի օրվա ցույցերը կազմակերպել են հիմնականում երիտասարդ ակտիվիստները. նրանք պահանջում են, որ կառավարությունն ավելի նախաձեռնողական գործողություններ ձեռնարկի հանցագործության և կոռուպցիայի բարձր մակարդակի դեմ պայքարելու համար։
Խերին, որը Պերուի յոթերորդ նախագահն է վերջին ութ տարվա ընթացքում, հայտարարել է, որ բողոքի ցույցերի մասնակիցների մեջ ներթափանցել են հանցավոր խմբավորումների անդամներ՝ նպատակ ունենալով քաոս սերմանել։
