Ականատես լինելով Հայաստանյայց Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցու դեմ ՀՀ իշխանությունների սանձազերծած հարձակումներին ու հալածանքներին և հակազգային գործունեությանը՝ Հ․Յ․Դ․ Բյուրոն բացարձակապես անընդունելի է համարում այդ բոլորի հեղինակ անձին արժանացնել Կիլիկիո կաթողիկոս Ն․Ս․Օ․Տ․Տ Արամ Ա-ի հատուկ ուշադրությանը, ինչն արդարորեն առաջացրել է Սփյուռքի և Հայրենիքի հայության բուռն ընդվզումը։ Այս մասին հյատարարություն է տարածել ՀՅԴ Բյուրոն:

«Հայրենիքում տեղի ունեցածը ծրագրված հարձակում է ոչ միայն Հայ եկեղեցու, այլև հավատավոր ողջ հայ ժողովրդի, նրա ինքնության և ազգային նկարագրի վրա, և երբեք չի կարելի այն ընկալել իբրև եկեղեցու և պետության միջեւ հակամարտություն։

Այս օրերին ՀՀ իշխանությունների կողմից բարձրաստիճան հոգևորականների կալանավորումն ու եկեղեցու թիրախավորման դատապարտելի վարքագիծը հրամայական պահանջ է ստեղծում՝ Հայաստանյայց Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցու կաթողիկոսական աթոռների համընդհանուր ճիգերով պաշտպանել հայ ժողովրդի կյանքում բացառիկ ազգային արժեք ներկայացնող եկեղեցին։

Մեր հորդորն է՝ Հայաստանյայց Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցու երկու Կաթողիկոսների սերտ համագործակցությամբ և իրենց շուրջ համախմբված մեր ժողովրդի անմնացորդ աջակցությամբ Հայ Եկեղեցին պաշտպանել ամեն տեսակ քանդիչ, հայ ժողովրդի ինքնությունը խաթարող և նսեմացնող ներքին ու արտաքին ոտնձգություններից»,- նշված է հայտարարության մեջ:
