Շանհայի Ֆուդանի համալսարանի (ՉԺՀ) ինժեներները մշակել են նոր էկոլոգիապես մաքուր արևային ֆոտոէլեմենտ՝ հիմնված անագի վրա, որը սահմանել է արդյունավետության նոր ռեկորդ՝ 17,7% արևային էներգիայի փոխակերպման ցուցանիշով։ Համալսարանի հայտարարության համաձայն՝ նոր տիպի այս համակարգը արդյունավետությամբ չի զիջում ավանդական՝ կապարով հիմնված արևային բատերիաներին, սակայն լիովին բացառում է վտանգները մարդու առողջության և շրջակա միջավայրի համար։

«Մեր նպատակն էր ստեղծել իսկապես էկոլոգիական արևային ֆոտոէլեմենտ, որը կլիներ անվտանգ իր ամբողջ կյանքի ցիկլի ընթացքում», — նշել է հետազոտող Լյան Ճյան։ Բարձր արդյունավետությամբ պերովսկիտային արևային բջիջները երկար տարիներ մեծապես կախված էին կապարից, ինչը լուրջ էկոլոգիական և առողջական ռիսկեր էր առաջացնում։

Լյան Ճյայի խոսքով՝ անագը կարող է դառնալ իդեալական փոխարինող, քանի որ այն «լայնորեն հասանելի է, անվտանգ, լավ է համատեղվում արևային էներգիայի փոխակերպման գործընթացների հետ և հարմար է զանգվածային արտադրության համար»։ Բացի այդ, նյութական արժեքի տեսանկյունից՝ անագի վրա հիմնված արևային բջիջները զգալիորեն էժան են, քան սիլիկոնային անալոգները։

Ավելի վաղ անագի վրա հիմնված ֆոտոէլեմենտների արդյունավետության ռեկորդը կազմում էր 16,5%, ուստի Ֆուդանի համալսարանի նոր մշակումն այս ոլորտում դարձել է ամենաարդյունավետը։
