Ուշ գիշերին Հակակոռուպցիոն դատարանը որոշում է կայացրել՝ 30 օրով երկարաձգելով բարերար, գործարար Սամվել Կարապետյանի կալանքի ժամկետը։ Հարյուրավոր մարդիկ գիշերը Հակակոռուպցիոն դատարանի մոտ «Ամոթ» են վանկարկել դատավորին։ Վերջինս տխրահռչակ Վահե Դոլմազյանն է, ով մշտապես դակում է գործող իշխանության ապօրինի հրահանգները։
Ազգային բարերարը մեղադրվում է իշխանության զավթման հրապարակային կոչի մեջ, իսկ կալանավորելուց հետո նրան նաև մեղսագրել են հարկերը, տուրքերը կամ այլ վճարները չվճարելու, ինչպես նաև փողերի լվացման մեղադրանք։ Այդ կերպ Փաշինյանը փորձում է միջազգային հանրության մոտ տպավորություն ստեղծել, թե քրեական հետապնդումը օրինական է։ Նշենք, որ Կարապետյանին կալանավորելուց հետո բավականին լուրջ աղմուկ բարձրացավ՝ ընդհուպ մինչև ԱՄՆ կոնգրեսականների մակարդակով, որոնք Հայաստանի իշխանություններից պահանջում էին ազատ արձակել Սամվել Կարապետյանին։ Փողերի լվացման հոդվածը բավականին լուրջ է, և այս իմաստով հենց սա է դառնալու մեղադրանքի հիմքը, թեև որևէ հստակ փաստարկ այդպես էլ գործող իշխանությունները չեն ներկայացրել։
Երկու օր շարունակ մեծ բազմություն էր հավաքված Թբիլիսյան խճուղում, որոնք պահանջում էին ազատ արձակել Սամվել Կարապետյանին։ Նախօրեին տեղի ունեցած հավաքին գրեթե 7000 մարդ էր մասնակցել։ Երեկ ուշ երեկոյան էլ հազարավոր մարդիկ հավաքված էին դատարանի դիմաց՝ փաստացի ցույց տալով, որ որքան էլ գործող իշխանությունները փորձեն կեղտոտ քարոզարշավ իրականացնելով կալանավորել Սամվել Կարապետյանին, նրա վարկանիշը գնալով ավելի է աճում։ Ըստ էության, փաշինյանական իշխանությունը հրաշալի հասկանում է այդ հանգամանքը, և դա հունից հանում է գործող իշխանություններին, որոնք իրենց վրեժխնդրության մեջ փորձում են առավելագույնս անցնել բոլոր կարմիր գծերը։
