sovanews.tv–ն «ՀՀ նախկին ՄԻՊ Թաթոյանը կմասնակցի 2026 թվականի ընտրություններին Փաշինյանի դեմ» վերնագրով հոդվածում գրում է, որ քաղաքականություն մտնելուց հետո ՀՀ նախկին ՄԻՊ Արման Թաթոյանը պաշտոնապես հայտարարել է, որ իր նորաստեղծ քաղաքական շարժումը՝ «Միասնության թևերը», կմասնակցի առաջիկա խորհրդարանական ընտրություններին, և որ ինքը մտադիր է անձամբ առաջադրվել վարչապետի պաշտոնում։ 43- ամյա Թաթոյանը կառավարությունում իր կարիերան սկսել է 2003 թվականին և 2016- ից 2022 թվականներին եղել է ՀՀ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան։ Սկզբում նա այդ պաշտոնում առաջադրվել է այն ժամանակվա իշխող Հանրապետական կուսակցության աջակցությամբ, սակայն ստացել է նաև այն ժամանակվա ընդդիմադիր պատգամավոր և ներկայիս վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի աջակցությունը։ Թեև նա մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի իր առաջին տարիներին մեծամասամբ խուսափում էր բախումներից, նրա հարաբերությունները ներկայիս իշխանությունների հետ կտրուկ վատթարացել են 2020 թվականի Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի երկրորդ պատերազմից և Ադրբեջանի կողմից Հայաստանի տարածք հետագա ներխուժումներից հետո։ Թաթոյանը բազմիցս է մեղադրել կառավարությանը սահմանամերձ շրջանների բնակիչների կարիքները անտեսելու մեջ, մինչդեռ պաշտոնյաները, իրենց հերթին, մեղադրել են նրան մարդու իրավունքների քողի տակ քաղաքական նկրտումներ հետապնդելու մեջ։

Լրագրողների հարցին, թե արդյո՞ք իր շարժումը կբարձրացնի Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի նկատմամբ վերահսկողությունը վերականգնելու հարցը, Թաթոյանը շեշտել է, որ չնայած տեղահանված բնակիչներն ունեն վերադարձի իրավաբանորեն ճանաչված իրավունք, իր շարժումը համապատասխան քաղաքական հարթակը չի հիմնի «կեղծ սպասումների» վրա։ «Մեր ավելի քան 120000 հայրենակիցներ ստիպված են եղել լքել իրենց տները և ունեն վերադառնալու իրավունք։ Սա իմ անձնական կարծիքը չէ. սա Միջազգային դատարանի կողմից ճանաչված սկզբունք է, - ասել է նա,– բայց մենք մեր օրակարգը չենք հիմնի Լեռնային Ղարաբաղ ֆիզիկական վերադարձի վերաբերյալ պատրանքների վրա։ Դա անարդար կլինի ժողովրդի նկատմամբ»։ Թաթոյանը նաև բացառել է Ադրբեջանի դեմ Հայաստանի կողմից ռազմական հանցագործությունների համար հարուցված միջպետական դատական հայցերը դադարեցնելու հնարավորությունը, չնայած խաղաղության բանակցությունների շրջանակներում նման դատական հայցերը հետ վերցնելու փոխադարձ պարտավորություններին: Թաթոյանին մամուլի ասուլիսում միացել է նաև Հայաստանի պետական եկամուտների կոմիտեի նախկին ղեկավար Դավիթ Անանյանը, որը, ինչպես սպասվում է, կհսկի շարժման տնտեսական օրակարգը: Անանյանը, որը հրաժարական էր տվել 2020 թվականին COVID-19 կարգավորումների շուրջ կառավարության հետ տարաձայնությունների պատճառով, այդ ժամանակվանից ի վեր դարձել է Փաշինյանի վարչակազմի աղմկոտ քննադատը:
