Կիևին Tomahawk հրթիռներ մատակարարելու որոշումը հսկայական վնաս կհասցնի Ռուսաստան-ԱՄՆ հարաբերություններին։ «Коммерсантъ» պարբերականին տված հարցազրույցում նման հայտարարություն է արել Ռուսաստանի արտգործնախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը։
«Այո, եղել են հայտարարություններ Tomahawk-ի վերաբերյալ, սակայն Tomahawk հրթիռների հնարավոր մատակարարման մասին նման հայտարարությունների շարքում նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը, այլ մեկնաբանությունների շարքում, նշել է, որ չի ցանկանում սրացում։ Ընդունելով, որ դա կլինի լարվածության սրացում, և այն էլ շատ լուրջ։ Ուկրաինան այստեղ առնչություն չի ունենա։ Դա պարզապես հսկայական վնաս կհասցնի Ռուսաստանի և ԱՄՆ-ի միջև հարաբերությունների կարգավորման և այն լիակատար փակուղուց դուրս գալու հեռանկարներին, որի մեջ այդ հարաբերությունները խրվել են Ջո Բայդենի վարչակազմի կողմից»,- նշել է նախարարը։
Լավրովը հավելել է, որ Թրամփը բազմիցս ընդգծել է, որ դա Բայդենի պատերազմն է, և նա ցանկանում է լուծել հակամարտությունը։ «Նախ, որովհետև նրան դուր չի գալիս, երբ մարդիկ են մահանում։ Դա լիովին հասկանալի է»։ Երկրորդ, որովհետև այս պատերազմը, որը նա ժառանգել է որպես անցանկալի ժառանգություն, արհեստականորեն բարձրացվել է միջազգային օրակարգի գագաթնակետին Բայդենականների և նրանց եվրոպացի «ձայնակցող»-ների կողմից, խոչընդոտ է։ Հետևաբար, նա դա անում է կյանքեր փրկելու և Ռուսաստանի հետ լիարժեք համագործակցության ճանապարհը մաքրելու համար։ Հասկանալի է՝ թե՛ մեկը, թե՛ մյուսը: Խաղաղության և կյանքերի համար պայքարը ազնիվ գործ է»,- շարունակել է Ռուսաստանի արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչության ղեկավարը։
Միևնույն ժամանակ, Լավրովն ուշադրություն է հրավիրել Եվրոպայի ձգտման վրա՝ արագ և հուսալիորեն Ուկրաինայում հակամարտությունը վերափոխել Թրամփի պատերազմի։
«Գործարքներ, որոնք փոխշահավետ են և հասանելի նյութական համագործակցության և գործնական նախագծերի ոլորտում՝ դա նույնպես այն է, ինչով Թրամփը միշտ հետաքրքրված է եղել։ Նա երբեք չի թաքցրել դա, միշտ գործելով բացահայտ։ Եվ Եվրոպան ցանկանում է արագ և հուսալիորեն վերափոխել այն Թրամփի պատերազմի։ Այստեղից էլ՝ այդ բոլոր հորդորները»,- եզրափակել է Լավրովը։
