Ձերբակալվել է Արագածոտնի թեմի Սաղմոսավանքի հոգևոր հովիվ Տեր Փառեն քահանա Առաքելյանը, իսկ Արագածոտնի թեմի առաջնորդ Մկրտիչ Սրբազանին այս պահին ուղեկցում են Քննչական կոմիտե։ Արագածոտնի թեմի առաջնորդ Մկրտիչ եպիսկոպոս Պռոշյանի տունը նաև խուզարկել են։ Նշենք, որ Արագածոտնի թեմի առաջնորդը Վեհափառի քրոջ որդին է։ Մայր Աթոռի խոսնակ տեր Եսայի քահանա Արթենյանը տեղյակ չէ, թե ինչ մեղադրանքով են ձերբակալել Տեր Փառենին, բայց և վստահ է, որ բարձրաստիճան հոգևորականների ձերբակալություններն ու խուզարկությունները իրականացվում են իշխանություն-եկեղեցի հակամարտության շրջանակներում։

Ըստ մեր աղբյուրների՝ ձերբակալությունը կապված է Սաղմոսավանքի հարևանությամբ գտնվող Հովհանավանքի հոգևոր հովիվ, վերջին շրջանում իշխանական ԶԼՄ-ների աստղ դարձած Տեր Արամի հետ, ով արդեն հասցրել էր սկանդալ սարքել մեկ այլ հոգևորականի՝ Հովհանավանքում ծառայության նշանակվելու պարագայում՝ ոստիկաններ հրավիրելով և կռիվներ սադրելով։ Այժմ էլ նա ցուցմունքներ է գրել Տեր Փառեն քահանա Առաքելյանի դեմ, իսկ իշխանությունն էլ սիրահոժար ձեռնամուխ է եղել ընդդիմադիր հայացքներով հայտնի քահանայի ձերբակալությանը։ Չի բացառվում, որ մի մեղադրանք էլ Մկրտիչ Սրբազանին ներկայացվի։

Ավելի ուշ փաստաբան Արա Զոհրաբյանը հայտնել է, թե «Արագածոտնի թեմի առաջնորդից բացի ձերբակալվել են և այս պահին Երևանի Քննչական կոմիտեում են գտնվում Տեր Փառեն, Տեր Մանուկ, Տեր Հայկ, Տեր Մկրտիչ, Տեր Ղևոնդ քահանաները, ինչպես նաև մի շարք քաղաքացիական անձինք»։

Շիրակի թեմի առաջնորդ Միքայել արքեպիսկոպոս Աջապահյանի ազատազրկումից, Բագրատ Սրբազանի դեմ խայտառակ դատաքննություն իրականացնելուց հետո այլևս ոչնչի վրա զարմանալ չարժե։ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը պատերազմ է հայտարարել Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցուն և հետևողականորեն իրականացնում է իր քաղաքականությունը։
