Երեկ Ադրբեջանում պետության հովանու ներքո գործող քարտեզագիրների միավորումը հրապարակել է այսպես կոչված «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքի» քարտեզը։ Եթե նայեք դրան, ապա կտեսնեք, որ ՀՀ տեղանունները թյուրքացված են, ճանապարհի վրա չկան որևէ նշաններ, որոնք կհուշեն անցակետերի մասին։ Այս մասին գրել է թյուրքագետ Վարուժան Գեղամյանը:
«Մի խոսքով, տխուր քարտեզ։ Իսկ մի քանի օր առաջ թուրքական խոշոր ընդդիմադիր մեդիաներից ODA TV-ի հրապարակած տեղեկատվությամբ (վերջինս հայտնի է սկանդալային լրատվությամբ, սակայն ունի մեծ և ազդեցիկ լսարան), ՀՀ դե-ֆակտո իշխանությունը համաձայնել է Սյունիքում շուրջ 1200 քռ. կմ-ոց գոտին (Մեղրիից մինչև Կապան) փաստացի հանձնել Թուրքիայի և Ադրբեջանի կառավարմանը՝ «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքի» շրջանակներում, իսկ հայ-թուրքական Մարգարա անցակետի մոտ գտնվող մի փոքրիկ չեզոք գոտի էլ տրվելու է Թուրքիայի «հատուկ վարչական վերահսկողությանը»։
Էական չէ, թե այս լուրը որքան է ճիշտ այս պահի դրությամբ։ Էականն այն է, որ երկու հարևան ու թշնամական երկրում մեր տարածքի՝ Սյունիքի հանդեպ կատարվում է ծավալուն աշխատանք, այդ թվում՝ տեղեկատվական։ Դժվար է նկարագրել, թե ինչ ինտենսիվությամբ ու ծավալով են Ադրբեջանում և հատկապես Թուրքիայում նախապատրաստում այսպես կոչված «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքի» բացմանը։ Գրեթե ամենօրյա ռեժիմով հրապարակվող հատուկ ռեպորտաժներ, վերլուծականներ, անցկացվող տասնյակ միջոցառումներ, կոչեր և ենթակառուցվածքային ծրագրեր, որոնցում «միջանցքը» կենտրոնական թեման է։ Եվ սա ողջ ամբողջական ցանկն է։
«Զանգեզուրի միջանցքի» թեման, կարելի է ասել, դարձել է թուրքական արարողակարգի մի մասը։ Օրինակ երբ այցելում են Հայաստանին ու Նախիջևանին սահմանակից գոտիներ, տեղի պաշտոնյաներին պարտադիր կերպով շնորհավորում են «միջանցքի» բացման առիթով։ «Միջանցքի» մասին խոսում են բոլոր մակարդակներում՝ վերածելով այն նաև ներքին քաղաքականության կարևորագույն գործոններից մեկին։ Սա չի մնում անհետևանք. «Զանգեզուրի միջանցք»-ը՝ Սյունիքի հարավի նվաճումով Ադրբեջանին միանալու պանթուրքական գաղափարը մեր հարևան պետություններում դառնում է հստակ ձևակերպված հանրային պահանջ։ Իսկ ինչ է լինում դրանից հետո, հաստատ չի կարելի կոչել խաղաղություն։ Սա չի կարելի չնկատել»։
