Президент США Дональд Трамп заявил, что все еще намерен ввести в отношении Китая торговые пошлины в размере 100% с 1 ноября.
«Да, в настоящее время это так, - сказал он журналистам на борту президентского самолета по пути на Ближний Восток в ответ на вопрос о том, намерен ли он вводить 100-процентные пошлины в отношении Китая. - Посмотрим, что произойдет».
Вместе с тем американский лидер указал, что времени до упомянутой даты еще много. «Для меня 1 ноября звучит как целая вечность», - сказал глава Белого дома.
10 октября Трамп заявил, что Вашингтон с 1 ноября или ранее повысит на 100% пошлины в отношении продукции из Китая, а также введет меры экспортного контроля на программное обеспечение. Таким образом, суммарные тарифы США на продукцию из КНР могут достичь 130%. По словам американского лидера, это будет ответом на «исключительно агрессивную позицию» Пекина.
