Վերջերս Վրաստանում տեղի ունեցած անկարգությունները հրահրվել են դրսից՝ Մայդանի սցենարով հանրապետությունը Արևմուտքի կամքին ենթարկելու նպատակով։ Դրա մասին ճեպազրույցի ժամանակ հայտարարել է Ռուսաստանի ԱԳՆ տեղեկատվության և մամուլի դեպարտամենտի տնօրեն Մարիա Զախարովան։
«Արևմտյան խաղացողների հայտնի խմբի կողմից Վրաստանի ներքին գործերին բացահայտ միջամտությունը լուրջ մտահոգություն է առաջացնում,- նշել է նա։ -Ընդդիմության ներկայացուցիչները, որոնց աջակցում են ԵՄ-ն և Կիևի ռեժիմը, կապված են Վրաստանում բանտարկված Ուկրաինայի քաղաքացի Միխեիլ Սաակաշվիլիի «Միացյալ ազգային շարժման» հետ, կիրառել են աշխարհի տարբեր մասերում ակտիվորեն փորձարկված բոլոր հին ձևանմուշները և բացահայտորեն կոչ են արել տապալել օրինական կառավարությունը»։
«Այս, ի վերջո, ձախողված սադրանքի ակնհայտ նպատակն է Վրաստանում Մայդանի սցենար իրականացնել, այնտեղ հաստատել խամաճիկ կառավարություն, հանրապետությունն ամբողջությամբ ենթարկել Արևմուտքի կամքին, և այդ ամենը Վրաստանը մեր երկրի դեմ օգտագործելու նոր արկածախնդրությունների և Ռուսաստանի հարավային սահմաններում իրավիճակը անկայունացնելու նպատակով,- հայտարարել է դիվանագետը: -Կարճ ասած՝ գաղափարը մեկն է՝ Վրաստանը դարձնել գործիք ուրիշների ձեռքում՝ աշխարհաքաղաքական դիմակայության մեջ օգտագործելու համար: Մինչդեռ, վրաց ժողովրդի հիմնարար շահերը գունավոր հեղափոխությունների, Մայդանների և հեղաշրջումների այս փորձերի հետևում կանգնածները լիովին ցինիկորեն և անտարբերորեն անտեսում են»:
«Մենք վերահաստատում ենք մեր հետևողական հավատարմությունը Հարավային Կովկասի բոլոր երկրների հետ խաղաղ, հավասար և փոխշահավետ հարաբերություններին և դեմ ենք տարածաշրջանի՝ սուր դիմակայության ևս մեկ ասպարեզ դառնալուն,- եզրափակել է Զախարովան՝ արտահայտելով Ռուսաստանի պաշտոնական դիրքորոշումը: -Միանգամայն ակնհայտ է, որ միայն իրենց սեփական օպորտունիստական նպատակները հետապնդող վերոնշյալ արտատարածաշրջանային ուժերը, որոնց կործանարար բնույթն այս օրերին կրկին ցուցադրվել է աշխարհի այս տարածաշրջանում, ընդունակ են օգտվել նման բացասական սցենարից»:
