ՀՀ քննչական կոմիտեի հատկապես կարևոր գործերի քննության գլխավոր վարչությունում նախաձեռնված քրեական վարույթի նախաքննության ընթացքում առերևույթ փաստական տվյալներ են ձեռք բերվել այն մասին, որ «Կարեն Դեմիրճյանի անվան Երևանի մետրոպոլիտեն» ՓԲԸ-ի նախկին գլխավոր ինժեներն այլ անձանց հետ նախնական համաձայնությամբ հափշտակել է առանձնապես խոշոր չափերով գումար: 

Մասնավորապես՝ Երևանի մետրոպոլիտենի և այլ անձանց միջև 2021 թվականի ապրիլի 30-ին կնքվել է ծառայությունների վճարովի մատուցման պայմանագիր, համաձայն որի՝ տվյալ անձինք Մետրոպոլիտենի հավաքակայանում պետք է իրականացնեին վագոնների հիմնանորոգման և արդիականացման աշխատանքներ: Հիշյալ աշխատանքների կատարման համար ութ անձի փոխանցվել է ընդհանուր՝ 20 մլն 710 հզր ՀՀ դրամ գումար: 

Քրեական վարույթի նախաքննության ընթացքում պարզվել է, որ ութ անձից կազմված խումբը ձևավորվել է Մետրոպոլիտենի նախկին գլխավոր ինժեների կողմից, ինչպես նաև վերջիններս չեն հանդիսացել Մետրոպոլիտենի աշխատակիցներ և նախկինում որևէ առնչություն չեն ունեցել վագոնների վերանորոգման և հիմնանորոգման աշխատանքների հետ:

Վերոգրյալի պայմաններում, նախկին գլխավոր ինժեները տվյալ անձանց կողմից վագոնների վերանորոգման աշխատանքների չկատարումը քողարկելու նպատակով՝ հավաստիացրել է Մետրոպոլիտենի պատասխանատու կազմին, թե իբրև հիշյալ անձինք հավաքակայան պետք է այցելեն և աշխատանքները կատարեն Մետրոպոլիտենի հիմնական աշխատողների աշխատանքային ժամի ավարտից՝ ժամը 18:00-ից հետո: Մինչդեռ, նշված անձինք չեն եկել և որևէ աշխատանք չեն կատարել, սակայն ստացել են ծառայությունների մատուցման հիշյալ պայմանագրով նախատեսված գումարները:

Այսպիսով, Մետրոպոլիտենի նախկին գլխավոր ինժեներն օգտագործելով ՓԲԸ-ում ունեցած իր դիրքն ու հեղինակությունը, ութ անձի հետ նախնական համաձայնությամբ Մետրոպոլիտենից խարդախությամբ հափշտակել է առանձնապես խոշոր չափերով՝ ընդհանուր 20 մլն 710 հզր ՀՀ դրամ գումար: 

Մետրոպոլիտենի նախկին գլխավոր ինժեների նկատմամբ հարուցվել է հանրային քրեական հետապնդում՝ Քրեական օրենսգրքի 255-րդ հոդվածի 3-րդ մասի 3-րդ կետով (առանձնապես խոշոր չափերով կատարված խարդախությունը), իսկ ութ անձի նկատմամբ՝ 255-րդ հոդվածի 2-րդ մասի 1-ին և 3-րդ կետերով (մի խումբ անձանց կողմից նախնական համաձայնությամբ խոշոր չափերով կատարված խարդախությունը):

Մետրոպոլիտենի նախկին գլխավոր ինժեների նկատմամբ հայտարարվել է հետախուզում․  վերջինիս նկատմամբ որպես խափանման միջոց ընտրվել է կալանքը: 

Քրեական վարույթի նախաքննության ընթացքում վերականգնվել է պետությանը պատճառված վնասից 5 մլն 47 հզր ՀՀ դրամը, իսկ վեց անձանց գույքերի վրա վերջիններիս մեղսագրվող արարքով պատճառված վնասի չափով արգելանք է դրվել: 

Վեց անձի վերաբերյալ քրեական վարույթը մեղադրական եզրակացությամբ ուղարկվել է հսկող դատախազին:
