Ուլտրաձայնային նոր հետազոտություն․ Ուղեղի մի քանի հատվածների միաժամանակյա խթանում

Ուլտրաձայնային նոր մեթոդը թույլ է տալիս միաժամանակ խթանել գլխուղեղի մի քանի հատվածներ։ Նախկինում ուլտրաձայնային նեյրոմոդուլյացիայի մոտեցումները հաճախ բախվում էին «ամեն ինչ կամ ոչինչ» սկզբունքին. չափազանց թույլ ազդանշան՝ ազդեցություն չկա, իսկ չափազանց ուժեղը կարող էր հանգեցնել ուղեղի անվերահսկելի գրգռման և վնասման ռիսկի։
Նոր մեթոդը ոչ միայն ակտիվացնում է նեյրոնային ցանցերը, այլև հնարավորություն է տալիս միաժամանակ պատկերացնել, թե կոնկրետ որ ցանցերն են ներգրավված, այսինքն՝ այն համատեղում է խթանումը և դրա մոնիտորինգը իրական ժամանակում։
Նեյրոնների վրա ուլտրաձայնի ազդեցության մեխանիզմը դեռ ուսումնասիրվում է։ Մեթոդներից մեկը կիզակետում ջերմաստիճանի կարճատև բարձրացումն է։ Բացի այդ, ենթադրվում է, որ ուլտրաձայնը կարող է ազդել նեյրոնների թաղանթների վրա գտնվող սպիտակուցային անցուղիների վրա, որոնք կարգավորում են իոնների փոխադրումը՝ դրանով իսկ ազդելով բջիջների գրգռվածության վրա։
Հետազոտությունը, որի արդյունքները հրապարակվել են Nature Biomedical Engineering ամսագրում, առայժմ կրում է ցուցադրական բնույթ և նախատեսված չէ կլինիկայում անհապաղ կիրառման համար։
Հեղինակները նախատեսում են հետագայում փորձարկել տեխնոլոգիան ուղեղի հիվանդությունների տարբեր մոդելների վրա (օրինակ՝ Ալցհայմերի հիվանդություն, էպիլեպսիա, դող, դեպրեսիա և ինսուլտ)՝ դրա թերապևտիկ ներուժը գնահատելու համար։
