Այսօր Թուրքիայի մի քանի քաղաքներում հարյուր հազարավոր մարդիկ մասնակցել են երթերի՝ ի աջակցություն պաղեստինցիների և Սումուդ հումանիտար նավատորմի, որը փորձել էր հասնել Գազա, հաղորդում է Associated Press-ը։

Ստամբուլում՝ ամենամեծ ցույցի ժամանակ, բազմամարդ ամբոխը շարժվել է Սուրբ Սոֆիայի հայտնի տաճարից դեպի Ոսկե Եղջյուրի ափը, որտեղ նրանց դիմավորել են տասնյակ նավակներ՝ զարդարված թուրքական և պաղեստինյան դրոշներով։

Երթի մասնակիցները, նախկին բյուզանդական տաճարի առջև, որը ներկայումս գործում է որպես մզկիթ, կեսօրվա աղոթքից հետո կոչ են արել մուսուլմաններին՝ համերաշխություն ցուցաբերել պաղեստինցիների հետ։

Թուրքիայի մայրաքաղաք Անկարայում ցուցարարները պահել են դրոշներ և պաստառներ՝ դատապարտելով Գազայում տեղի ունեցող «ցեղասպանությունը»։ Իսկ արևմտյան նավահանգստային Իզմիր քաղաքում բնակիչներն իրենց աջակցությունն են հայտնել Սումուդ միջազգային նավատորմին, որը նախորդ շաբաթ Իսրայելի զինված ուժերը կասեցրել էին՝ Գազայի ծովային շրջափակումը խախտելու փորձի ժամանակ։

Արևելյան Թուրքիայի Վան լճում ձկնորսական նավակները, կանոեներն ու սուզորդները ջուր են մտել պաղեստինյան դրոշներով և պաստառներով, իսկ լճի ափին կանգնած հազարավոր մարդիկ ողջունել են նրանց։
