Հոկտեմբերի 4-ին Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսն ընդունեց Հայաստանյայց Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցու ԱՄՆ Հայոց Արևելյան թեմի Հայ օգնության ֆոնդի (ՀՕՖ) տնօրենների խորհրդի անդամներին ու բարերարներին՝ ուղեկցությամբ ԱՄՆ Հայոց Արևելյան թեմի առաջնորդ, ՀՕՖ-ի նախագահ Գերաշնորհ Տ. Մեսրոպ եպիսկոպոս Պարսամյանի և ՀՕՖ-ի տնօրենների խորհրդի ատենապետ Ռանդի Սապահ-Գուլյանի։ Այս մասին հայտնում են Մայր Աթոռի տեղեկատվական համակարգից։

Հանդիպմանը Մեսրոպ եպիսկոպոսը, հայցելով Նորին Սրբության օրհնությունը, ներակայցրեց հյուրերին և հիմնադրամի ծավալած գործունեությունը:

Այնուհետև Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսն իր հայրապետական օրհնությունը բերեց ներկաներին՝ բարձրորեն գնահատելով այն ազգաշահ առաքելությունը, որ ՀՕՖ-ը իրականացնում է հայրենիքում և սփյուռքում:

Հայոց Հովվապետը, անդրադարձ կատարելով հիմնադրամի ազգանվեր և եկեղեցանվեր գործունեությանը, նշեց որ հայրենիքի համար ծանր ու փոթորկալի ժամանակներում ՀՕՖ-ը իր կարելիություններն ի սպաս է դրել ազգի զավակների հոգածության համար և իր ավանդն է բերել երկրի կրթական, մշակութային, սոցիալական, առողջապահական ոլորտներում, ինչպես և Հայաստան-սփյուռք կապերի սերտացմանը։

Ամենայն Հայոց Հայրապետն իր մասնավոր գնահատանքը փոխանցեց նաև ՀՕՖ-ի առաքելությանը սատարող բարեկամներին ու բարերար հայորդիներին՝ ընդգծելով, որ նրանց ներդրումի և ազնիվ ծառայության շնորհիվ բարեզարդվում ու պայծառանում է եկեղեցական և ազգային կյանքը։

Զրույցի ընթացքում Նորին Սրբությունը մտահոգությամբ անդրադարձավ հայ ժողովրդի առջև ծառացած ներքին ու արտաքին մարտահրավերներին՝ կարևորելով  սփյուռքի ազգային կառույցների, ինչպես նաև ՀՕՖ-ի ջանքերն ի նպաստ առկա խնդիրների հաղթահարման, հայրենիքի զորացման ու առաջընթացի։

Իր խոսքում Վեհափառ Հայրապետը գնահատանքով ընդգծեց, որ հոգևոր դասի ու եկեղեցանվեր հայորդիների նախանձախնդրության ու նվիրումի շնորհիվ Եկեղեցին անշեղորեն իրականացնում է իր առաքելությունը։

Հանդիպմանը Նորին Սրբությունը պատասխանեց նաև ներկաների հարցերին, որոնք վերաբերում էին Մայր Աթոռի գործունեությանը տարբեր ոլորտներում և ծրագրերին:

Վերջում Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը մաղթեց, որ Տերն օրհնի և զորավիգ լինի թեմակալ առաջնորդին, ՀՕՖ-ի անդամներին, բարեկամներին ու բարերարներին իրենց բոլոր ազգօգուտ նախաձեռնություններում:
