Վերջերս մի կիսագրագետ քաղաքական բախտախնդիր, փորձելով փայլել իր «նորարարական» մտածելակերպով, պնդում արեց, որ մեր ազգի հայրենասիրության մոդելը ձևավորվել է 20-րդ դարի երկրորդ կեսի Խորհրդային պրոպագանդայի ազդեցության ներքո, թերևս մոռանալով, որ դեռ 5-րդ դարից սկսած Մովսես Խորենացին գրել է իր «Հայոց պատմությունը», Եղիշեն՝ իր «Վասն Վարդանի և հայոց պատերազմի», և դրանից հետո անցնող դարերի ընթացքում մեր բազմաթիվ մեծերը իրենց անմահ ստեղծագործություններով բյուրեղացրել են մեր ինքնությունը, և ձևավորել հենց այն հայրենասիրությունը, որի կենտրոնում մեր աստվածատուր հայրենիքն է, նրանից սերված մեր ինքնությունը, և նրան խարսխված մեր հավատը:

Մեր ինքնության վերազարթոնքի տեսանկյունից նոր ժամանակներում առանցքային էր ոչ թե 20-րդ, այլ 19-րդ դարը, երբ դեռևս պետականություն չունեցող մեր ժողովրդի բազմաթիվ մտավորական զավակներ իրենց գործունեությամբ հիմք դրեցին նոր քաղաքական ազգի և նրա պետական գիտակցության ձևավորման համար:

Դրանցից մեկի՝ Մուրացանի «Գևորգ Մարզպետունի» անմահ վեպի մասին է այս հակիրճ խոսքս՝ որպես հայրենասիրության և ներշնչանքի հրաշալի օրինակ:

Համոզված եմ, որ ձեզնից յուրաքանչյուրը կարող է իր սիրված օրինակներն այստեղ ավելացնել, և դրանով հարստացնել վերն արտահայտված առանցքային միռքը:
