Վրաստանում այսօր ՏԻՄ ընտրություններ են:

Հոկտեմբերի 4-ին՝ տեղի ժամանակով ժամը 8:00-ին բացվել են բոլոր ընտրատեղամասերը: Ընտրությունների ավարտը ժամը 20:00-ին է։

Վրաստանի Կենտրոնական ընտրական հանձնաժողովի ղեկավար Գիորգի Կալանդարիշվիլիի խոսքով՝ քաղաքացիները կընտրեն քաղաքային խորհրդի 2058 անդամի և 64 քաղաքապետի։ Վրաստանի ամբողջ տարածքում կգործեն ընդհանուր առմամբ 3061 ընտրատեղամաս, այդ թվում՝ 10-ը՝ քերակատարողական հիմնարկներում։ Քվեարկությունը կանցկացվի էլեկտրոնային եղանակով 2284 ընտրատեղամասում։

Ընտրություններին գրանցվել է 12 քաղաքական կուսակցություն։ Թբիլիսիում գրանցվել է քաղաքապետի ինը թեկնածու՝ Կախա Կալաձեն «Վրացական երազանք»-ից, Իրակլի Կուպրաձեն «Լելո-Վրաստանի համար» կոալիցիայից, Յագո Խվիչիան «Գիրչի»-ից, իսկ մնացած վեցը գործնականում անհայտ են հանրությանը։

Ինչ վերաբերում է մեծամասնական թեկնածուներին, ապա գրանցվել է ընդհանուր 2228 թեկնածու, այդ թվում՝ 160-ը՝ Թբիլիսիում։

Վրաստանի Կենտրոնական ընտրական հանձնաժողովի (ԿԸՀ) տվյալներով՝ ընտրողների ընդհանուր թիվը կազմում է 3 513 818։ Ընտրություններին կհետևեն 28 միջազգային և 27 տեղական կազմակերպությունների դիտորդներ։

Վրաստանի ընդդիմության մեծ մասը բոյկոտում է ընտրությունները, և այսօր հայտարարվել է երթերի և բողոքի ցույցերի մասին՝ «կառավարությունը խաղաղ ճանապարհով տապալելու» նպատակով։ Ընտրություններին մասնակցում են միայն իշխող «Վրացական երազանք» կուսակցությունը և երեք ընդդիմադիր կուսակցություններ։

Հիշեցնենք, որ ընդդիմության վեց առաջնորդներ՝ գրեթե բոլորը, ովքեր մասնակցել են 2024թ-ի բողոքի ակցիաներին ներկայումս ազատազրկված են վարչական և քրեական մեղադրանքներով։
