Թուրքիայի և ԱՄՆ նախագահներ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը և Դոնալդ Թրամփը հեռախոսազրույց են ունեցել, որի ընթացքում քննարկել են Գազայում տիրող իրավիճակը, հայտնել են Թուրքիայի առաջնորդի գրասենյակից։

«Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը այսօր հեռախոսազրույց է ունեցել ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի հետ՝ վերջինիս խնդրանքով։ Զրույցի ընթացքում քննարկվել են Թուրքիայի և ԱՄՆ-ի միջև երկկողմ հարաբերությունները, ինչպես նաև Գազայում տիրող իրավիճակը»,- հայտնել են գրասենյակից։

Նախագահ Էրդողանը հայտարարել է, որ սեպտեմբերի 25-ին Վաշինգտոն կատարած իր այցն ամրապնդել է Թուրքիայի և ԱՄՆ-ի միջև հարաբերությունները, և որ կարևոր է քայլեր ձեռնարկել երկու երկրների միջև համագործակցությունը բոլոր ոլորտներում, մասնավորապես՝ պաշտպանական արդյունաբերության մեջ ամրապնդելու համար։

«Թուրքիայի նախագահը նշել է, որ Թուրքիան ինտենսիվ ջանքեր է գործադրում տարածաշրջանում, մասնավորապես՝ Գազայում, խաղաղություն և անդորրություն ապահովելու համար և ողջունում է այդ նպատակին հասնելուն ուղղված նախաձեռնությունները։ Նախագահ Էրդողանն ընդգծել է, որ Թուրքիան արագացրել է դիվանագիտական ​​շփումները՝ խաղաղության հասնելու համար, կշարունակի իր ներդրումն ունենալ խաղաղության համաշխարհային հայեցակարգում, և որ Իսրայելի հարձակումների դադարեցումը կարևոր է տարածաշրջանում խաղաղության նախաձեռնությունների հաջողության համար»,- պարզաբանել են գրասենյակում։
