Ինչպես խոստացել էի. Ադրբեջանում պահվող մեր գերիներին այցելելու մասին ելույթ-խնդրանքս ԵԽԽՎ լիագումար նիստին
 
«Մեծարգո’ նախագահող, հարգելի’ գործընկերներ,
 
Այսօր այս նստաշրջանի վերջին օրն է, և մենք բոլորս անհամբեր սպասում ենք տուն վերադարձին ու այն պահին, երբ կրկին կհանդիպենք մեր հարազատներին։ Վստահ եմ, որ շատ անգամներ հաղորդագրությունների և զանգերի միջոցով այս օրերին տեղեկացել եք իրենց որպիսության մասին։ Որովհետև մենք սիրում ենք նրանց և անհանգստանում ենք նրանց համար։
 
Պատկերացրեք, որ չկարողանայիք դա անել։ Անհավատալի է, չէ՞։ Բայց Ադրբեջանում պահվող հայ գերիների հարազատները զրկված են այդ հնարավորությունից։ Բաքվում Կարմիր խաչի գրասենյակի փակվելուց հետո պատանդների հարազատները և մենք չունենք որևէ տեղեկություն մեր հայրենակիցների որպիսության մասին։
 
Դուք կարող եք ասել, թե բա մեծ քաղաքականություն է, հակամարտություն, միջազգային պայմանագրեր և այլն, և այլն, բայց դա այդպես չէ․ սա մարդկանց կյանքեր են, մարդկային ողբերգություններ։ Առկա են տեղեկություններ պատանդների ինքնասպանության փորձերի և հացադուլների մասին։ Դա մեծագույն ամոթ է, բայց մենք նույնիսկ չգիտենք անգամ Ադրբեջանում ապօրինաբար պահվող մեր եղբայրների ճշգրիտ թիվը։ Հնարավոր է, որ նրանցից ոմանք այլևս ողջ չեն։
 
Ուստի ես դիմում եմ ԵԽԽՎ Նախագահին, ԵԽ Գլխավոր քարտուղարին և անդամ երկրների ներկայացուցիչներին. խնդրում եմ հանձնարարեք Բաքվում Ձեր դեսպաններին այցելել ադրբեջանական բանտերում պահվող հայ գերիներին։ Խնդրում եմ, արեք դա անհապաղ՝ ապացուցելու, որ Եվրոպայում դեռ հավատում են մարդասիրությանը։
 
Մի թողեք մեր հայրենակիցներին բռնապետի հետ մեն մենակ։
