Վրաստանի վարչապետ Կոբախիձեն պնդում է, որ Վրաստանի՝ մինչև 2030 թվականը ԵՄ անդամակցության նպատակը լիովին իրագործելի է՝ չնայած բանակցությունների դադարներին և լարված հարաբերություններին։

Euronews-ի համար գրված հոդվածում Կոբախիձեն պնդում է, որ Վրաստանի՝ ԵՄ անդամակցության ուղին «մնում է կայուն և անշրջելի», և որ Թբիլիսիի՝ մինչև 2030 թվականը Եվրամիությանը միանալու նպատակը «իրատեսական և իրագործելի» է՝ հիմնվելով իր մինչ օրս կառավարության իրականացրած բարեփոխումների վրա։

Վրաստանի առաջնորդը միաժամանակ օգտվել է առիթից՝ ընդգծելու համար, որ իր կառավարությունը Թբիլիսիի և Եվրամիության միջև լարված հարաբերություններում հիմնական դերակատար է, երբ երկու կողմերն էլ դադարեցրին ԵՄ-ին Վրաստանի անդամակցության վերաբերյալ բանակցությունները։

«Վստահ եմ, որ առաջիկա տարիներին Վրաստանի մոտեցումը կդառնա ավելի արդար և արժանիքների վրա հիմնված՝ արտացոլելով ինչպես մեր իրականացրած բարեփոխումները, այնպես էլ մեր ձեռք բերած շոշափելի առաջընթացը»,- հայտարարել է նա։

Կոբախիձեի կարծիքով՝ Վրաստանի ռազմավարական նշանակությունը արագորեն աճում է, և որ երկիրը կատարում է Ասոցացման համաձայնագրով և ԵՄ-ի հետ խոր և համապարփակ ազատ առևտրի գոտու շրջանակում ստանձնած բոլոր պարտավորությունները։

Նա հայտարարել է, որ գնդակը Բրյուսելի դաշտում է՝ ընդգծելով, որ շարունակում է «շատ լավատեսորեն» տրամադրված լինել, որ իր երկիրը մինչև 2030 թվականը կստանա ԵՄ անդամակցություն՝ դա անվանելով Վրաստանի համար կարևոր ռազմավարական նպատակ։

Վրաստանի վարչապետը նախաձեռնություն է ցուցաբերել՝ ընդգծելու համար իր երկրի դիրքորոշումը Ռուսաստանի նկատմամբ՝ նշելով, որ «վրաց ժողովուրդը լիովին գիտակցում է պատերազմի խոր գինը. մեր տարածքի 20%-ը դեռևս ռուսական օկուպացիայի տակ է»։
