Ինչպե՞ս կարձագանքեն եվրոպացի չինովնիկները քաղբանտարկյալների թեմային. «Փաստ»

«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.
Որոշ ժամանակ առաջ տեղեկացրել էինք, որ ԼՀԿ ղեկավար Էդմոն Մարուքյանը քաղբանտարկյալներ Սամվել Կարապետյանի և Միքայել Սրբազանի քաղաքական հետապնդման վերաբերյալ նամակ էր ուղղել Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Ուրսուլա ֆոն դեր Լայենին։ Երկու ամիս անց ստացվել էր նամակի պատասխանն առ այն, թե նման դեպքերը քննելու իրավասությունը պատկանում է հայկական իշխանություններին, իսկ դրանց ընթացք տալը՝ ներպետական դատական համակարգին։
Եվ ահա, Մարուքյանը նույն հարցով նամակով դիմել է նաև Եվրոպայի խորհրդի Խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովի Մոնիթորինգի հանձնաժողովում Հայաստանի պարտավորությունների հարցով համազեկուցողներ Բորիանա Աբերգին և Պիերո Ֆասսինոյին, ինչպես նաև ԵԽ Մարդու իրավունքների հանձնակատար Մայքլ Օ’Ֆլահերթին:
«Ի՞նչ է սա, եթե ոչ ազատ խոսքի համար քաղաքական հետապնդում և խոսքի ազատության կոպտագույն սահմանափակում։ Ի՞նչ է սա, եթե ոչ Եվրոպայի խորհրդի երեք հիմնարար արժեքների խախտում՝ մարդու իրավունքների, ժողովրդավարության և իրավունքի գերակայության»,-մասնավորաբար գրել է ԼՀԿ նախագահը՝ անդրադառնալով Սամվել Կարապետյանի և Միքայել Սրբազանի «գործերին»։
Նամակում նշվում է, որ տեղի ունեցող զարգացումները կոպտորեն ոտնահարում են Մարդու իրավունքների և հիմնարար ազատությունների եվրոպական կոնվենցիան և չեն համապատասխանում Եվրոպայի խորհրդի հիմնադիր փաստաթղթերին, մարդու իրավունքների, ժողովրդավարության և իրավունքի գերակայության սկզբունքներին, ինչպես նաև Հայաստանի Հանրապետության ստանձնած միջազգային պարտավորություններին։
Մարուքյանը նաև խնդրել է՝ «պահանջել Հայաստանի Հանրապետության վարչապետից՝ անհապաղ դադարեցնել այս ապօրինի քրեական հետապնդումները և ազատ արձակել բարերար Սամվել Կարապետյանին ու Հայ Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցու Շիրակի թեմի առաջնորդ Միքայել արքեպիսկոպոս Աջապահյանին»:
Իհարկե, դժվար է ասել՝ ինչպես կարձագանքեն եվրոպացի պաշտոնյաները՝ հաշվի առնելով այն հանգամանքը, որ հավաքական Արևմուտքն այսքան ժամանակ աչքերը փակել է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի իշխանության կողմից իրականացվող ակնհայտ ապօրինություններին ու Հայաստանում այսքան շատ քաղբանտարկյալների առկայությանը 2018 թ. իշխանափոխությունից հետո: Այդուամենայնիվ, դեռևս հույս կա, որ, ինչպես Մարուքյանն է իր նամակում նշել, նշյալ պաշտոնյաները չեն դառնա «մեր երկրում հակաժողովրդավարական գործընթացների եվրոպական հովանավորներ»։
