Սեպտեմբերի 29-ին Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում ընդունել է  Բրազիլիայի հայոց թեմի ուխտավորներին` ուղեկցությամբ Բրազիլիայի թեմի առաջնորդ Գերաշնորհ Տ․ Նարեկ եպիսկոպոս Բերբերյանի։ Այս մասին հայտնում են Մայր Աթոռից։

«Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսն իր օրհնությունն ու պատգամը փոխանցեց ուխտավորներին՝ կարևորելով աշխարհասփյուռ հայոց թեմերից նման ուխտագնացությունների կազմակերպումը դեպի Հայրենիք և Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածին, որոնք ազգային ինքնության պահպանման և միասնականության գրավականն են։ Այս առնչությամբ Վեհափառ Հայրապետը նկատեց, որ հայրենիքի նկատմամաբ սիրով ու ամուր հավատքով մեր ժողովրդի զավակները դիմագրավել և հաղթահարել են պատմության ընթացքում մեզ բաժին հասած բազմաթիվ փորձություններ, նաև վերապրելով Հայոց Ցեղասպանությունը՝ տարբեր երկրներում վերակերտել ազգային-հոգևոր կյանքը և իրենց կարևոր նպաստը բերել հայրենաշինության գործին:

Հանդիպմանը Նորին Սրբությունը հորդորեց բրազիլահայ ուխտավորներին ամեն ջանք ի գործ դնել՝ զորացնելու իրենց համայնքը և օգտակար ծառայություն բերելու ազգին, հայրենիքին և Եկեղեցուն»,- ասվում է հաղորդագրությունում:
