ՀՀ ՇՄ նախարարը ելույթ է ունեցել «Ճանապարհ դեպի ՄԱԿ կենսաբազմազանության մասին կոնվենցիայի 17-րդ համաժողով» խորագրով միջոցառմանը

Սեպտեմբերի 26-ին, Նյու Յորքում՝ ՄԱԿ Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի 80-րդ նստաշրջանի շրջանակում, Հայաստանի և Կենսաբանական բազմազանության մասին կոնվենցիայի քարտուղարության նախաձեռնությամբ կազմակերպվել է «Ճանապարհ դեպի ՄԱԿ կենսաբազմազանության մասին կոնվենցիայի 17-րդ համաժողով» խորագրով հարակից միջոցառումը։ Այս մասին հայտնել են ՀՀ Շրջակա մրջավայրի նախարարությունից:
Միջոցառման ընթացքում ելույթ է ունեցել Շրջակա միջավայրի նախարար Համբարձում Մաթևոսյանը ` ներկայացնելով Հայաստանի առաջնահերթությունները COP17-ի նախագահության շրջանակում։
Նախարարն ընդգծել է, որ մեծ պատիվ է Երևանում հյուրընկալել այս համաշխարհային համաժողովը։ Հայաստանը նախագահությունը ստանձնում է վճռականությամբ՝ առաջնորդվելով ներառականության, թափանցիկության, բարձր հավակնության և գործնական քայլերի արժեքներով։
Նա նշել է, որ Հայաստանի նպատակն է համախմբել ոչ միայն կառավարություններին, այլև բնիկ ու տեղական համայնքներին, երիտասարդներին, կանանց, քաղաքներին ու տարածաշրջաններին, գիտնականներին, բիզնեսին ու ֆինանսական կառույցներին՝ մեկ միասնական համայնք ձևավորելու համար՝ հանուն բնության և կենսաբազմազանության պահպանության։
Այս նպատակով, մինչ COP17-ը, Երևանում նախատեսվում է կազմակերպել տարածաշրջանային երկխոսություն, տեխնիկական խորհրդակցություններ և pre-COP միջոցառումներ։ Հայաստանը պատրաստակամ է անել ամեն ինչ, որպեսզի խոստումները վերածվեն իրական գործողությունների, իսկ գործողությունները՝ վերականգնված էկոհամակարգերի։
Երևանը պատրաստ է բաց դռներով ողջունել աշխարհին և դառնալ կամուրջ՝ էկոհամակարգերի, երկրների և կայուն ապագայի տեսլականների միջև։
