Իսրայելում Գալիլեա լճի շրջակայքը մետաղորսիչով ուսումնասիրելիս դետեկտորը հանկարծ սկսել է «գժվել» և իրար հետևից ոսկե մետաղադրամներ են հայտնվել, հաղորդում է Live Science-ը։

Ահա թե ինչպես է Հիպպոս (հայտնի է նաև որպես Սուսիտա) հին քաղաքում հայտնաբերվել ոսկու և զարդերի հազվագյուտ գանձարան, որը մոտավորապես 1400 տարեկան է։

Հայտնաբերվել են 97 մաքուր ոսկե մետաղադրամ և տասնյակ զարդեր՝ մարգարտե ականջօղեր, կիսաթանկարժեք քարերով զարդարված զարդեր և գունավոր ապակի։ Հնագետները գանձը թվագրում են բյուզանդական դարաշրջանին, այն տարածաշրջանի նմանատիպ հինգ խոշորագույն գտածոներից մեկն էը։ Մինչ օրս Հիպպոսում նմանատիպ խոշորամասշտաբ հայտնագործություններ չեն եղել։

Մետաղադրամները սոլիդուս (լրիվ ոսկե մետաղադրամ), կիսաթանկարժեք (կես) և տրեմիս (երրորդ) տեսակների են, տարբեր անվանական արժեքներ։ Մի մասը ծածկված էր կտորի մնացորդներով. հնարավոր է՝ գանձը մի ժամանակ փաթաթված է եղել կտորով կամ քաթանով։ Հատկապես հետաքրքիր էր Կիպրոսում մոտ 610 թվականին՝ Փոկաս կայսեր դեմ ապստամբության ժամանակ հատված տրեմիսե մետաղադրամի հայտնաբերումը։

Հնագետների կարծիքով՝ գտածոն մեծ նշանակություն ունի դրամագիտության և տարածաշրջանի պատմության համար, որը կօգնի հասկանալ այդ ժամանակի քաղաքական և տնտեսական պայմանները։ Չնայած գանձի թաղման ճշգրիտ նպատակն ու ժամանակն անհայտ են, Հիպպոսի պատմության ուսումնասիրությունները ցույց են տալիս, որ տարածաշրջանը լուրջ ցնցումներ է ապրել յոթերորդ դարի սկզբին։ 614 թվականին Սասանյան կայսրությունը ներխուժել է բյուզանդական Պաղեստին, և շատ քրիստոնեական քաղաքների բնակիչներ թաքցրել են իրենց ունեցվածքը։

Ժամանակի ընթացքում Հիպպոսսը կորցրել է իր նշանակությունը. մի շարք նվաճումներից և 749 թվականի երկրաշարժից հետո քաղաքը վերջնականապես լքվել է։ Հետազոտողները մետաղադրամների և զարդերի մանրամասն վերլուծություն կանեն՝ գտածոն տարածաշրջանային համատեքստում տեղադրելու և, հնարավոր է, որոշ ցուցանմուշներ թանգարաններ հանձնելու համար։
