ՄԱԿ-ը ևս 70 ընկերություն է ավելացրել 11 երկրների սև ցուցակում, որոնք, ըստ կազմակերպության, մեղսակից են պաղեստինցիների նկատմամբ մարդու իրավունքների խախտումներին՝ օկուպացված Արևմտյան ափին գտնվող իսրայելական բնակավայրերի հետ իրենց գործարար կապերի պատճառով, հաղորդում է NBC News-ը։
Նոր ցանկում ներառված են այն ընկերությունները, որոնք ըստ լայնորեն համարվող անօրինական միջազգային իրավունքի՝ զբաղվում են բնակավայրերին աջակցող բիզնես գործունեությամբ։ Այն ներառում է ընկերությունների լայն շրջանակ, մասնավորապես շինանյութերի և հողային սարքավորումների մատակարարները, ինչպես նաև անվտանգության, ճանապարհորդության և ֆինանսական ծառայությունների մատակարարները։
«Հակամարտություններից տուժած միջավայրերում գործող բիզնեսները պարտավոր են ցուցաբերել պատշաճ ջանասիրություն՝ ապահովելու համար, որ իրենց գործունեությունը չնպաստի մարդու իրավունքների խախտումներին,- հայտարարել է ՄԱԿ-ի մարդու իրավունքների գրասենյակի մամուլի խոսնակ Ռավինա Շամդասանին։ «Գործարարներին կոչ ենք անում ձեռնարկել համապատասխան միջոցներ՝ մարդու իրավունքների վրա իրենց գործունեության բացասական ազդեցությունը վերացնելու համար»։
Ներկայում ցանկում ներառված է 158 ընկերություն, որոնց մեծ մասը իսրայելական են։ Մնացածը ԱՄՆ-ից, Կանադայից, Չինաստանից, Միացյալ Թագավորությունից, Ֆրանսիայից, Գերմանիայից, Իսպանիայից, Պորտուգալիայից, Նիդեռլանդներից և Լյուքսեմբուրգից են։
Իսրայելը հայտարարել է, որ «կտրականապես մերժում է» հրապարակումը։
«Այս տվյալների բազան նախատեսված է ոչ մի խախտում չգործած ընկերությունների սև ցուցակ կազմելու համար - ասված է Ժնևում գտնվող Իսրայելի դիվանագիտական առաքելության հայտարարության մեջ։ «Մեր բարեկամներին կոչ ենք անում չտրվել իսրայելական ընկերություններին սև ցուցակում ներառելու այս նողկալի փորձին»։
ՄԱԿ-ի գրասենյակից հայտնել են, որ ընկերություններին տեղեկացրել է ցանկում նրանց ընդգրկման մասին և նրանց պատասխանելու իրավունք է տվել։
